Standard Power & 2 New Hardware Ver for BE98 Pro

I recently purchased two BE98 Pros. One from BestBuy and one from Amazon. Both were manufactured 2024 h/w 2.0. I returned both unopened. It must take a significant amount of time for new revisions to be mass produced and distributed throughout the supply chain to the consumer. As a side...

    GT-BE98 Pro Hardware Revisions

There is some good informative information about adding standard power in v2.5 and v2.7 in this thread, https://www.snbforums.com/threads/standard-power-2-new-hardware-ver-for-be98-pro.91115/ by adding a barometric sensor to enable AFC in the GT_BE98 Pro.

    GT-BE98 Pro Hardware Revisions

I don't think anyone can answer that question, there will always be constant revisions. Sometime just due to a supplier change of components. I do know that v2.5 was provided to the FCC for testing in early March. Whether they were being mass produced at that time, I'm not sure. I know...

    ET12 AiMesh 5GHz issue with GT-AXE16000

Thanks for the reply @junior120872, I didn't realize that others had 5GHz connectivity issues with the ET12 as well. I'm going to try a wireless backhaul to see if it makes a difference, but I doubt it will. I've been pondering a GT-BE98 Pro upgrade but have been waiting for Asus to enable...

Best Buy lists the TP-Link - Archer BE900 and TP-Link - Deco BE95 with a release date of April 15th, 2023. I can't imagine the Asus ROG Rapture GT-BE98 much further behind.

    GT-AXE16000 Owner's Thread

It's been two years since the FCC authorized the use of the 5.9GHz channels, and not even the new Intel AX series adapters fully support all the new 5.9GHz channels opened up, as of October 2022 they only support up to 5.895GHz, meaning they might only support two additional 20MHz channels (169...

Asus RT-AX3000 What does date and time represent in Signature Version

It's just the signature version of Trend Micro's Network Protection called AiProtection. It usually gets updated once a month or so with malicious websites, etc. The actual router firmware is listed in the AiMesh router tab. So, a newer firmware may still use older Trend Net network...

    What versions/builds of Windows officially support Wi-Fi 6E (6GHz)

I was able to get it to work with a bootable USB Ubuntu drive, however using that or Linux isn't feasible in my case. I have opened another support ticket hoping to escalate my case to return the XPS past the 30 day return window. Hopefully the fact that I opened a support ticket 35 days ago...

    What versions/builds of Windows officially support Wi-Fi 6E (6GHz)

The thread on the Dell forum is one that I also started, and I did read the notebookcheck.net review but only after scouring the internet to why my 6GHz does not work. I also started a thread on Reddit. Dell XPS Owners (reddit.com) It really does appear that Dell has intentionally disabled...

    What versions/builds of Windows officially support Wi-Fi 6E (6GHz)

It took me awhile, but I was able to build a WinPE bootable drive and inject the driver. I just can't figure out how to connect it to a wireless network. From what I have read "General wireless networking functionality is not supported in WinPE"
