    Since Adguard Home is working very stable for me, has anyone tried to disable DHCP assignment on the router (R9000 in my case) and use DHCP settings of Adguard Home? Would this disable features on Kamoj's addon like "VPN Bypassing"?

    Thanks. I thought Wireguard is there already on Beta releases for AX routers? In my experience with running Wireguard on R9000, the config DNS is completely ignored by the router, so it falls back to router DNS. I think someone was writing something similar here on beta firmware with Wireguard...

    Thanks. I can't look at it right now as I have AC86U in AP mode, where WAN/DNS options are not present. So you can use custom DoT URL, right? Also is it possible to enforce using router's DoT with Wireguard VPN client?

    Interesting, thanks. On your FW still no Wireguard, is the right? Once it comes and if DoT comes to DNS Filter it will be very interesting. I wonder if it is possible to use DoT with Wireguard client config?

    No CPU mentioned yet. I use RT2600ac at one place and it is a very good router with excellent frequently updated system, native DoH support etc. The only part missing is Wireguard support, which users have been asking for some time already, so maybe they will finally add it at some point.

    @danlat1415 you can filter the routes which are blocking something and whitelist them. Also you can provide Adguard a feedback. I sent them a feedback once, they opened a Github ticket for it and it got fixed. I have not noticed the problems you describe with standard downloads, but I use Mac.
