For those having stability issues on AImesh with wireless backhaul, downgrade to 384.13

@Hazel thats is your main router uptime not the AP uptime. Above is my two AC68Us first line is 2.4ghz node, second is the 5ghz node, third and 4th are the main router AP uptimes. 22 days is my DSL-N55U in media bridge and the last is a Zyxel modem.

For those having stability issues on AImesh with wireless backhaul, downgrade to 384.13

I get about 2 days of node 2.4ghz AP uptime and so far 6 days of 5ghz node AP uptime with basic config using Merlin 386.2_4. I tried the latest 384.19 on a node with 386 on main router and it was a bit more stable but it seems at least the 2.4ghz node driver is flaky.

Release Asuswrt-Merlin 386.2 is now available

I updated 2 x AC68U today. I was testing the node on 384.19 wifi uptime and got 6 days stable. I did a dirty upgrade on the router (386.2) and after reboot 5 ghz disappeared permanently. The node also came back up roughly the same time but channel had switched from 48 (5g) to 52. So waited 10...

    ASUS RT-AC68U AiMesh drops (Again)

As a test could always configure the mesh node as a repeater or media bridge then see how long the radios stay up.
  17. B

    ASUS RT-AC68U AiMesh drops (Again)

The router is not rebooting, that's why lights stay on, just the radios switch off for a couple of mins. Could be an error in the scheduling code. I have had 3 days out of my 5ghz.

    ASUS RT-AC68U AiMesh drops (Again)

My 2,4ghz radio has dropped after 12 hours :(

    ASUS RT-AC68U AiMesh drops (Again)

Mine after updating the node to 384.19 the node is 23 hrs. Ignore the 35d20 that is an old DSL-N55U in media bridge.
