    Understanding Traffic Analyzer page

Yeah, when you first go to that page, it's showing the last 24 hours (even if on different days). 0h is indeed midnight. How it categorizes things is up to Trend Micro. I have Windows 7 and I haven't seen an XBOX entry... so that could be a Windows 10 related thing talking to the same servers...

    [Release 384/NG] Asuswrt-Merlin 384.5 is now available

My apologies. That was not my intent but I understand. I do appreciate all the work you do.

    [Release 384/NG] Asuswrt-Merlin 384.5 is now available

Yep, the pattern continues. After each 4 Gig of download, get a upload spike equaling 4 Gig in a couple mins on my RT-AC68U. My ISP's data meter more or less matches the daily download values. So for now, I can dismiss roughly 4 gig of upload a day per every 4 gig of download that day. So...

    [Release 384/NG] Asuswrt-Merlin 384.5 is now available

Like with the beta, I am getting these fake upload spikes with this release in the Traffic Monitor WAN tab (which I expected). The pattern I am starting to notice is that after every 4 Gig worth of download, I get the upload spike which matches around the same amount. Each spike seems to be...

    [Release 384/NG] Asuswrt-Merlin 384.5 is now available

Yeah, that would be a major upgrade. You'd most likely need to clear your browser cache for the UI to look properly after updating and you might need to go back to factory settings and reconfigure everything manually if you start getting odd problems. Might even take screenshots of your...

    [Release 384/NG] Asuswrt-Merlin 384.5 is now available

I suppose that depends on what version you are running now which you don't mention. Unless you were using 384.something before then I'd classify it as major.

[Beta 384/NG] Asuswrt-Merlin 384.5 Beta is now available

Just some additional information. These spikes only show on the WAN tab, not the wired. My Wireless is turned off so that tab doesn't work as expected. So, it makes me wonder where this information is coming from.

[Beta 384/NG] Asuswrt-Merlin 384.5 Beta is now available

This data error is also saved in the upload stats of the daily chart and thus saved into the historical data. I first installed the beta on the 8th: The 8th-11th I didn't even reach 1 gig of actual upload. Just look at the chart.. those are the only days with that much recorded upload...

[Beta 384/NG] Asuswrt-Merlin 384.5 Beta is now available

Well. It didn't take long. Already see the upload spike after watching Twitch for 1hr 20mins or so. Screenshots: https://i.imgur.com/lJRoMs5.png and https://i.imgur.com/P2OPY8D.png So far this has been easily reproducible with the beta. When I installed the beta I did not change anything with...

[Beta 384/NG] Asuswrt-Merlin 384.5 Beta is now available

Follow-up to https://www.snbforums.com/threads/beta-384-ng-asuswrt-merlin-384-5-beta-is-now-available.46352/page-15#post-404437 I got no upload spikes using stock Asus firmware. Watched 14.2 GB of Twitch and downloaded a 10gig game from Ubisoft. Switching back to the beta software now.

[Beta 384/NG] Asuswrt-Merlin 384.5 Beta is now available

I have only seen these upload spikes in the 24hour data (which also gets saved into the daily stats) since 384.5 beta 2. It thinks I've uploaded like 80GB in the past few days. No previous version of your firmware has shown this while watching Twitch nor has the stock firmware shown it yet (I...

[Beta 384/NG] Asuswrt-Merlin 384.5 Beta is now available

Yeah, there's another weird thing I'm seeing while watching Twitch.. the router registers a massive upload spike every 90 minutes or so; however, the Network properties on the PC do not register this data transfer. I changed the Traffic Monitor back to RAM and will see what it does over the...

[Beta 384/NG] Asuswrt-Merlin 384.5 Beta is now available

Alright, I reinstalled the beta2 firmware and then clicked the Reboot button in the UI. HW Acceleration remained disabled the whole time. Using all the same settings I was using with the stock firmware. After Reboot, the 24Hour Internet Connection (WAN) shows: 0.00 KB/s 0.03 KB/s 5.91...

[Beta 384/NG] Asuswrt-Merlin 384.5 Beta is now available

Alright. Beta 2 on my RT-AC68U w/ Windows 7 Pro 64bit. I just did a factory "restore" to try and debug things with the traffic monitor. I disabled NAT acceleration. I then uploaded a 75 MB file via FTP and then downloaded the same file. Here's what the last 24 hours shows: No way did I...

[Beta 384/NG] Asuswrt-Merlin 384.5 Beta is now available

The lease time was for 1 day in the DHCP leases list. I've removed the reserved IP and turned off manual assignment and that's stopped the log entry every couple minutes and has only appeared a couple time since. My Samsung TV which is also connected hasn't logged anything yet. Just see how it...

[Beta 384/NG] Asuswrt-Merlin 384.5 Beta is now available

Trying the beta2 on my RT-AC68U. My PC is assigned a manual IP in the DHCP list. I now notice log entries every couple minutes related to my PC: May 7 17:49:31 dnsmasq-dhcp[264]: DHCPINFORM(br0) 192.168.1.2 (mac) May 7 17:49:31 dnsmasq-dhcp[264]: DHCPACK(br0) 192.168.1.2 (mac) (hostname) May...

    [Release 384/NG] Asuswrt-Merlin 384.4 is now available

Just FYI, I am using Firefox 59.0.1 in Windows 7 Pro. I can browse using HTTPS fine on my RT-AC68U ( https://router.asus.com:8443/index.asp ). I am just using what certificate you generate by default. Now, I usually go in and clear out old certificates first. And then: When I browse to...

[Beta 384/NG] Asuswrt-merlin 384.4 Beta is now available

No problem here with Firefox 59 in Windows 7 Pro connecting with HTTPS. I did have to grant a security exception first to the certificate. However, I do typically use HTTP since none of this traffic really goes anywhere.

Try unplugging the router for 10 minutes or something to ensure its brains are completely de-scrambled?

[Beta 384/NG] Asuswrt-merlin 384.4 Beta is now available

Thought I'd add that on my RT-AC68U, can't change the DST setting. The end time needs to be the 1st Sunday in November, not the 2nd. Now, it is correct for the upcoming weekend which is the 2nd Sunday in March. Anyway, I change the setting, hit apply and the old setting remains. Edit: I see...
