[Beta] Asuswrt-Merlin 380.67 Beta is now available

I am able to add a security exception with Firefox 54. When the insecure connection first comes up, click the Advanced button and then can add an exception. I'm just using whatever the router gives, not my own. Normally I don't use the secure option though.

    Traffic Analyzer

I have the Trend Micro Statistics enabled (the Statistics tab) so I know how much Netflix, FTP, and whatever is used. For it to be accurate, you may need to disable NAT acceleration though.

    ASUS RT-AC68U Firmware version 3.0.0.4.380.7743

Weird, only showed for me on the Windows 8.1 and Windows 7 32bit options but not the 64bit ones. Well it does show on both Vista 32 and 64bit. Just keep clicking different OSes LOL. Anyway, I'll just stay on Merlin's for now.

[Release] Asuswrt-Merlin 380.66 is now available

On my RT-AC68U I used to keep NAT acceleration enabled and it would be goofed up like depending if just CTF or CTF+FA acceleration was enabled. Sometimes turning off acceleration and then enabling it again would toggle it one way or the other if it got switched during a firmware update or...

[Release] Asuswrt-Merlin 380.66 is now available

No, I don't have syslog server, that field is blank. Log level is "notice" and log messages only more urgent than "debug".

[Release] Asuswrt-Merlin 380.66 is now available

My RT-AC68U's log has dhcp messages from May 17th - May 25th with no gaps, I installed 380.66_2 on the 17th and always save and clear the log after firmware installation.

    RT-AC1900P - Traffic Analyzer

Judging by what my Blu-ray player does, Netflix streaming shows up as just Netflix on it. Blu-ray player doesn't touch Akamai. My PC has accessed Akamai but hard to say which sites it occurred as I don't pay that close attention.

[Beta] Asuswrt-Merlin 380.66 Beta is now available

Well, the Ping function in Network Tools does indeed seem to work now with IE11.

68U: Will Changing Starting day of Monthly Cycle Mess Things Up?

Well, I changed the date to 15 which changed nothing with the existing information. See what happens when the 15th rolls around.

68U: Will Changing Starting day of Monthly Cycle Mess Things Up?

I've been saving my Traffic Data for the past few months to a USB stick. If I change the monthly cycle start time from the 1st to the 15th to match my ISPs billing cycle, will it: Just automatically shift things around with the existing data? Wipe everything and have to start over? Leave...

[Beta] Asuswrt-Merlin 380.66 Beta is now available

Ping worked for me on my RT-AC68U with 66 beta 4. Tried Google in the drop-down and typed in my website. Both fine. PING markheadrick.com (72.29.66.18): 56 data bytes 64 bytes from 72.29.66.18: seq=0 ttl=52 time=46.068 ms 64 bytes from 72.29.66.18: seq=1 ttl=52 time=44.098 ms 64 bytes from...

[Beta] Asuswrt-Merlin 380.66 Beta is now available

When going to the Monthly Statistics, click on the "Apps" button first, then stay there or click back on the "Router" button to really get it into Client mode. Now, if you select "Download" it will stay in the same category. For whatever reason when I first go to "Monthly" the "Router" button...

AC68u, version 380.65_4, Adaptive QOS works great

Without QoS turned on I get B bufferbloat majority of the time. I just leave QoS off.

I did what Asus tech support asked and reinstalled 7266 on my RT-AC88U and this is what happened

According to the signature on the post, the RT-AC68U B1 unless the sig is out of date or something. :)

[alpha] Early preview builds for Asuswrt-Merlin 380.66

I've gone ahead and installed alpha3 on my RT-AC68U to get the security updates. So far no issues. I don't have Wireless or VPN stuff active so can't really test those aspects.

    RT-AC1900P System Log

In some thread I believe Merlin mentioned that the Clear button in the UI just clears the log in the UI interface. When I flashed 380.65_4 I got DHCP assignments going back to July 31st. Might read this thread: https://www.snbforums.com/threads/how-to-clear-delete-syslog-entries.37201/...

[alpha] Early preview builds for Asuswrt-Merlin 380.66

Cool, was wondering about that after noticing Asus put out 7378 with its security updates. https://www.snbforums.com/threads/asus-rt-ac68u-firmware-version-3-0-0-4-380-7378.38350/ I'll probably wait for the first beta. Thanks for all your efforts.

[Release] Asuswrt-Merlin 380.65 is now available

Firmware check in GUI thinks 380.65_2 is the latest (did a manual check). I do see 380.65_4 in the RT-AC68U folder. Perhaps whatever the GUI checks against hasn't been updated (Beta was not checked, btw). Just an FYI.

[Release] Asuswrt-Merlin 380.65 is now available

Just finished watching 4 hours of Netflix. No issues on my RT-AC68U for the 12 days I've been running 380.65_2. Thanks for all your hard work. Hope you get over your cold or whatever soon Eric.

RT-AC68U Most used LEDs (WAN, Power..) seem to fade away a bit (get dimmer) because of high mileage?

I notice the same thing. The USB 2.0 LED light which I started using a couple months is brighter than the Power, Wan, Lan 1 and 2 lights are now. Now, the power LED on my PC which is also blue has remained really bright since I got the PC in 2012. When I go to bed, I have to position my chair...
