    Traffic History

I think the main benefit of this is not loosing the traffic data after every firmware update or reboot if it was kept stored in RAM. That's the main benefit I see anyway.

RT-AC68P Gigabit Connection Issue - WAN and LAN Ports

I have a RT-AC68U connected to a Cisco DPQ3212 cable modem from Cox Communication. It's a 1 Gig connection to it and 1 Gig to my PC on port 1. There was an older FW version (380.60 and .61) where I was getting this ISP DHCP issue with disconnects and back then on the WAN tab I changed DHCP...

    ASUS RT-AC68U Firmware version 3.0.0.4.380.7266

You should be able to go back to 3.0.0.4.380.3264 which is the first version where they changed the verification method. I'll stick with Merlin's 380.65 though.

Traffic Monitor bug with merlin firmware 380.58 ASUS RT-AC66U

I haven't noticed it for sometime. Doesn't happen right now with 380.65 on my RT-AC68U but I do have NAT acceleration disabled and am using Firefox 51.0.1 in case the browser has any impact on it.

[SOLVED] 380.65 - Port forwarding not working/list blank

All my port forwards are working fine. For the Port range it's either a single value like 5151 or a range like 10051:10070 For the Local port I either do the single value or I leave it blank when doing a range cause it won't let you enter a colon there.

[Beta] Asuswrt-Merlin 380.65 Beta is now available

Put the Beta 4 on my RT-AC68U. Since I don't have Wireless enabled, I never had any issues with previous betas. It still finds my Thumb drive on the USB2 port. All appears well.

[Beta] Asuswrt-Merlin 380.65 Beta is now available

Well, I just know that in 380.64 that stopped working for me and now it is. Coincidence, hard to say.

[Beta] Asuswrt-Merlin 380.65 Beta is now available

Been using beta1 for a couple days now on my RT-AC68U. One thing that seems to have been fixed for me is that when I click the shortcut for the daily traffic monitor and it asks me to login, it redirects back to that page now instead of the network map. :) So far so good.

How often new firmware avalable checks (how long until flashing icon)?

I've never waited long enough but I do see the flashing if I check for a new version, restart the browser (I always do before flashing) and then look at the router again. So, if it checked 1 minute before the new version was live, you'd have to wait 2 days to see it.

[Release] Asuswrt-Merlin 380.64_2 is now available

I noticed this a bit with 380.64 (RT-AC68U) but seems to always happen with 380.64_1. I made a shortcut to the daily monitor page: (router)/Main_TrafficMonitor_daily.asp and in the past when I went to it, it asked me to login and then went to that page. Now, if it asks me to login, it goes to...

[Release] Asuswrt-Merlin 380.64_2 is now available

Just curious, how many days will the daily traffic stats graph show? Right now it has Dec 3rd - Jan 3rd and the fit is starting to get tight.

    ASUS RT-AC68U Firmware version 3.0.0.4.380.4164

The current versions of Merlin's firmware are able to be installed even with the new ASUS firmware. It's based on the same code so Merlin's new firmware will also not allow the installation of older Merlin or ASUS firmware. So the non-revertible thing still applies to both firmwares. As long as...

[Release] Asuswrt-Merlin 380.64_2 is now available

On my RT-AC68U, monthly has never shown anything until the 1st of the month and then it only shows the new month. So, right now mine is empty for December but I suspect when January comes, it will start showing January. Now that I am storing my traffic data on a thumb drive, it shouldn't get...

[Release] Asuswrt-Merlin 380.64_2 is now available

Hmmm.. question. Just noticed this. Is the last 24-hour Traffic Monitor information stored in the "traffic history location" data file or is that only in RAM? My daily information remains intact after the firmware update but the last 24hour just shows since then. If that's just the way it work...

[Release] Asuswrt-Merlin 380.64_2 is now available

Put 380.64 on. I did have to uncheck the Get Beta Firmware box for the firmware Check to see 380.64. I restarted the browser and when I went back to the router, I did see the flashing yellow icon on the top, so that bit works. It then took me to the proper place to download the firmware. It...

[poll] how is your download speed with Mediafire?

Mediafire has either not worked at all (a couple times) or only took a few seconds. Downloaded 3 different things and the longest was 8 seconds. (this was after a system restart so nothing was cached).

[Beta] Asuswrt-Merlin 380.64 Beta is now available

All you need to do is click the "Apps" button and then click "Router" and it will switch over.

[Beta] Asuswrt-Merlin 380.64 Beta is now available

On the beta2 now. Check worked fine and noticed it went into the RT-AC68U beta directory this time on the site. So far everything with the WebUI and Firefox 50.1.0 seems fine. It detected my USB Thumb drive fine and kept my traffic data.

[Beta] Asuswrt-Merlin 380.64 Beta is now available

Looking closer at my daily Traffic Stats, they seem to be about .2 Gig above what my ISP thinks and what the Traffic Analyzer Statistics page says. I do have NAT acceleration turned off. More an observation than anything. I wonder what extra bits the Traffic Monitor is counting that the...
