[Beta] Asuswrt-Merlin 380.64 Beta is now available

The check did find the new firmware and it took me to the RT-AC68U page. (Then went to beta folder.) I use Firefox all the time and the WebUI seems pretty snappy. It kept my Traffic Statistics this time since I changed it to a USB thumb drive a few days ago (which it found again). The App...

    [Preview] Asuswrt-Merlin 380.64 test builds

I think Marsi4eg is storing it in RAM. I just now put in a USB thumb drive into the 2.0 port a few days ago and told it to start storing the data there. At the moment my monthly data is empty. Like in the past, I probably will have nothing in the monthly chart until January 1st and then it will...

[Coming Soon] New version notification system

I don't think Merlin's firmware will auto-install an upgrade. At most it will do is alert when an update is available and then up to you to update. In any case, you can change the setting to make it not check for firmware updates, same as turning off Windows Automatic updates.

[Coming Soon] New version notification system

That seems to have worked. Went to the RT-AC68U Folder for me. If the beta was really there I would need go into the beta folder first, of course (I did not see an actual beta 9 file). I did not see an actual notice that a new one was available as it was probably in between checks. Reminds me...

[Coming Soon] New version notification system

Just installed the Alpha 3. I am guessing the Beta box needs to be checked to get notices of newer alpha and the beta version, right?

[Release] Asuswrt-Merlin 380.63_2 is now available

Yeah, I think it should really start recording for the current month. It seems that whatever triggers it to start recording monthly data doesn't happen until the 1st of the next month. I've kinda figured that since I am not saving it to USB or anything it would never have more than 1 or 2...

    RT-AC68U and Merlin Advice

I don't use the Wireless part of the Router so can't comment on that. But it does have the Trend Micro "AiProtection" section which I also don't use., but it is there to use. So, it does support the use of it. Now, it's probably all closed source code which Merlin doesn't have direct access...

[Release] Asuswrt-Merlin 380.63_2 is now available

On mine, it has only gotten data when the month changed to the 1st and then it only had that month. For example, when it becomes December it will only show December, not November. I store Traffic Data in RAM so I hardly ever see anything here.

Trouble connecting to an FTP site behind Asus-Merlin 380.63

Just to clarify the direction of things.. are you connecting like: Device -> Asus Router -> Modem -> ISP -> Internet -> FTP Site or Remote Device -> Internet -> ISP -> Modem -> Asus Router -> FTP Server on PC

[Release] Asuswrt-Merlin 380.63_2 is now available

I have something similar on my RT-AC68U (I don't use a USB stick). I save the log file after every flash and then clear it. The last log file has DHCP assignments in it going back to April even though I cleared it when I flashed 380.62 in September. I don't know where it stores it but it keeps...

[Release] Asuswrt-Merlin 380.63_2 is now available

I turned the Wi-Fi on my RT-AC68U and I do see the temps for everything after doing so. Only commenting as I'm on 380.63 as well.

[Release] Asuswrt-Merlin 380.63_2 is now available

After I got over 2 gig, charts look fine with all scales.

[Release] Asuswrt-Merlin 380.63_2 is now available

Don't think I saw this with the beta, may be the specific values I have at the moment with some funky math/rounding going on. The MB and KB look normal. See what it does when I go above 1 Gig.

    asus RT-AC68p support

You would use the one for the RT-AC68U model.

[Release] Asuswrt-Merlin 380.62_1 is now available

Since I don't use OpenVPN or VPN anything I'll stay on 380.62. No issues since I installed it late on Sept 23rd on my RT-AC68U. Thanks for all your work!

[Beta] Asuswrt-Merlin 380.62 Beta is available

Does Windows 10 have an option to disable automatic updates? I did that with Windows 7 Pro day 1.

[Beta] Asuswrt-Merlin 380.62 Beta is available

I just tried nano on my RT-AC68U and it seemed to work fine and I don't use entware. I was using Putty in Windows 7 Pro. Perhaps it is the client you are using to telnet in?
