vpnmgr vpnmgr - Manage and update VPN Client configurations for NordVPN and PIA

Vote here from me for SurfShark (I’ve already added AirVPN in the poll).

vpnmgr vpnmgr - Manage and update VPN Client configurations for NordVPN and PIA

A creature of habit I guess. I must admit that the ‘new’ Edge browser is quite good. Ironically I do have it set up on my iDevices too.

vpnmgr vpnmgr - Manage and update VPN Client configurations for NordVPN and PIA

Thanks. Unfortunately I mainly view these and other forums using Tapatalk and it's viewing capability's are basic. I had no idea that there was a poll when i made my post. I was saying that it was a pity that I couldn't use this as my VPN providers are SurfShark and AirVPN. It wasn't until I...

Root Canary Test Results - All ServFail [Red Crosses]

It could be but I don’t believe it’s the case this time. I have tried three separate devices plus a mobile phone with WiFi disabled so as to discount my WiFi.

Root Canary Test Results - All ServFail [Red Crosses]

Thanks all. It's Sod's Law that this happens just when you make changes yourself. It makes you doubt yourself.

Root Canary Test Results - All ServFail [Red Crosses]

I recently Nuked my AX88U [full reset, NVRAM etc]. I did not restore settings from a backup, I wanted a pure clean install. I did, however, take screen shots of the relevant settings so I could manually enter them if/when required. All is working very well with one weird exception. I have DoT...

    CakeQOS CakeQOS-Merlin

Wow. Very pleased. Now I have found the menu, I reset and played with a few ‘options’. I have found that adding dual-srchost to the already chosen docsis and ack-filter, I have got my loaded reading form pre-cake 36ms to 15ms. Unloaded remains pretty much the same. Thanks.

    CakeQOS CakeQOS-Merlin

Thank you all very much. That’s what I wanted. In my haste I made a few silly typos. Now I know how to invoke the meme, I’m ‘good to go’.

    CakeQOS CakeQOS-Merlin

I’m sorry, I meant the menu. I did know there was no GUI, yet.

    CakeQOS CakeQOS-Merlin

Another noob question. I installed from the command line. I think my previous question will be answered if I run the GUI, but how do I invoke the GUI?

    CakeQOS CakeQOS-Merlin

OK. I would like to tweak my Cake settings. I cannot find on here any parameter information so I don't know what to set. All I know is my line is 200/20 and is cable (UK) and it is Docsis 3.0. I don't mind tweaking, but at the moment I don't see what to tweak! Is there a list of available...

    CakeQOS CakeQOS-Merlin

I couldn't wait any longer, just had to install Cake! Quick question: The install script asks me to input both Download and Upload speeds. Do I enter my TRUE speed, as measured by Fast.com or my TRUE speed minus 10%. I entered my TRUE speed minus 10%. Before I installed Cake, according to...

Diversion Diversion - the Router Ad-Blocker

To be frank, I just set-and-forget. Looking at the logs, blocks an awful lot of crap. It hasn't really caused me any grief. In the beginning I did have to whitelist a few site, but I haven't needed to add any in an age. It works so transparently you forget it's working. It's blocked 1200...

Diversion Diversion - the Router Ad-Blocker

Me too. I have Two RPi aptly named Hole 1 and Hole 2. Both sat under my monitor, but disabled and feeling unloved. Diversion is all you need. It integrates so well with Skynet. A great overall package. Guess I will have to re-purpose them!

ntpMerlin ntpMerlin - NTP Daemon for AsusWRT Merlin

If I may play Devils Advocate for a moment. If you are using the graphs to see if ntpMerlin is working then why do you have it installed? You know it’s working because it generates graphs. If you didn’t have it installed you would just use the ‘Merlin/kvic enhanced version’.

ntpMerlin ntpMerlin - NTP Daemon for AsusWRT Merlin

Thank you for you reply. Please don't think i was 'downplaying' your EXCELLENT script, you know I am really grateful for each and every one of them. The charts are really kool though!!!

ntpMerlin ntpMerlin - NTP Daemon for AsusWRT Merlin

I used to have ntpMerlin installed on my AX88U. For numerous reasons i decided to Nuke the router and start from a clean base. Something I had never done since I originally set up the router from new. Dirty flashing left, right and centre. Because of this, I am deciding what to install. In the...

uiDivStats uiDivStats - WebUI for Diversion statistics

Yes, I now strongly suspect that the issues CPU spikes and general GUI slowdown were due to the speed of my USB stick. My old USB was a Kingston DataTraveller G3 USB 3.0 16GB, My new one is a Patriot Supersonic Rage Elite 128GB USB 3.1. Just because I could, after I removed the Kingston, I did...
