uiDivStats uiDivStats - WebUI for Diversion statistics

I have just done a long awaited Nuke of my AX88U and installed EVERYTHING from scratch. I have not used any backups. I now have a super fast USB stick. I am glad to report I currently have no speed/CPU spike issues Connmon v2.1.0. ATOP reports minimal DSK usage. My question is that the scales...

Diversion Diversion - the Router Ad-Blocker

Sorry if this is a duplicate post, I thought I hit the 'Post reply' button, but I guess i didn't because i cant see my previos post anywhere. Quick question, I am sure it's been asked before but a quick forum search didn't help me. Where does Diversion store the Whitelist? TIA.

    Entaware error after update

As I have some time on my hands I decided to Nuke my router and start from scratch. I cannot remember doing this since I got the device ages ago. Even updating Merlin via 'dirty flashes'. All is/was working well but just thought that I would take this opportunity to start from a clean slate and...

amtm amtm - the Asuswrt-Merlin Terminal Menu

Thanks both. I will go with ext4 with journaling. I have just purchased a fast USB 3.1 stick (Patriot Ultra) to replace my Kingston stick. So it should be plenty fast. Router CPU not withstanding. AX88U.

Out of curiosity, which is the best file system to choose? Sorry to hijack, but I guess the OP might ask anyways.

Diversion Diversion - the Router Ad-Blocker

I have to say I am relieved to hear that. Thought that I was having issues at my end. I was about to get the spanners out. And the large hammer.

Diversion Diversion - the Router Ad-Blocker

Ah, I am able to boot into Linux from a USB. I have PartedMagic which I find very useful. Will all the permissions copy over too? Actually thinking about it, if it is a clone, they should. Thanks for the pointer.

Diversion Diversion - the Router Ad-Blocker

Not sure if this is the best place to post this, but here goes. I would like to replace my existing USB stick with a new, faster one. I have a full gambit of scripts installed, including Diversion and SkyNet. What is the best way to swap the USB sticks out without losing data/script...

    [Asus RT-AX88U] Experiences & Discussion

When you say ‘picked up’ do you mean it is second hand? Perhaps the seller ‘disposed of it’ because it was faulty. It is not normal for it to forget its settings when powered off.

It was probably a mistake to follow it with a large G&T. Hic

I'm having a brain fart. I want to download the latest develop version as a clean install. To that end I have uninstalled the current 'test' version and removed the db. For the life of me i cant remember how to install from the develop branch. Typing uiDivStats develop at the command line...

Just FYI, my desktop PC Ethernet NIC accounted for 4500 PTR and its WiFi NIC , 3900 PTR. Even the router was only 55 PTR. Everything else was > 22 PTR. Thanks for the insight @dave14305. very interesting. I guess GlassWire was the culprit

I have just read up on PTR. Why would I have so many? Is it something an IoT device would do?

uiDivStats uiDivStats - WebUI for Diversion statistics

Occasionally DSK hits 100%, but TBH it is much improved. Not back to the uiDivStats v1 stage, but much better than the original v2 I have no idea what PTR is. I can follow instructions and follow commands, but my actual network knowledge is not very good. On the whole, Jack, this version...

Spoke too soon. Just come back to my PC and core 3 & 4 are having a merry dance 0 > 100% Not as often though. I does appear to have improved things.
