    CSR Certificate Generation

Hi All, Is there a "easy" way to generate a CSR for a SSL certificate that can be used on my Asus-RTAX88U router. I just want to buy a 5 year Positive SSL from Comodo to use with my domain currently setup at Google Domains (that is currently setup in DDNS), but Comodo and probably all others...

FlexQoS FlexQoS 1.2.4 - Flexible QoS Enhancement Script for Adaptive QoS

Hi @dave14305 Just a question regarding the WAN packet overhead. My Asus router is connected to the ISP router via ethernet, Asus WAN port <=====> ISP LAN port. I have added my Asus router to the DMZ of the ISP router. The ISP router connects to ISP with VDSL, the Traffic Type is PTM, and...

spdMerlin spdMerlin - v4.x - speedtest and bandwidth monitoring

Hi @Jack Yaz Thanks for the awesome addon. Quick question regarding QOS. I have an RT-AX88U with Adaptive QOS enavled along with FlexQOS installed. I have checked "Exclude speedtests from QoS" within spdMerlin. I have setup scheduled speedtests only against WAN and against a pre-selected...

Custom IPTables Rules for DNS Redirect

Yeah, makes sense. If the source IP gets sent to the AGH server and not the router IP, the server would reply to the source IP who wouldn't be expecting anything from the AGH server.

Custom IPTables Rules for DNS Redirect

The above rules for redirection is working, the DNS queries are being sent to my AdGuard Home server. BUT....the issue is that the source of the DNS queries is now the router, and not the device actually doing the DNS query. iptables -t nat -A PREROUTING -p udp -d 8.8.8.8 --dport 53 -j DNAT...

Custom IPTables Rules for DNS Redirect

I want to add some rules into iptables so that my Google/Nest smart devices stop calling Google DNS directly, and the Google DNS calls they do are redirected to my AdGuard Home DNS server which will reply with the appropriate DNS records. I know I can probably use DNSFiltering, but want to...

    WiFi 6 Speed. AX88u

What happens when the 5GHz band gets hit with radar? Does it switch off and checks every three minutes, and if clear, switches on again?

FlexQoS FlexQoS 1.2.4 - Flexible QoS Enhancement Script for Adaptive QoS

@dave14305 What is a MASK and how do you use it in a rule? I ask because there both an IPTABLE rule and APPLICATION rule Skype/Teams UDP 3478:3481 000000 Work-From-Home ======== Microsoft Teams 060025 Work-From-Home Skype 060001 Work-From-Home

FlexQoS FlexQoS 1.2.4 - Flexible QoS Enhancement Script for Adaptive QoS

I was originally using Traditional QOS. I moved over to Adaptive QOS and also installed FlexQOS and all working great so far, thanks! I noticed the original "device priorities" I had setup in Traditional QOS still show. Is this a problem for adaptive QOS? Does adaptive QOS use these priorities?

I am on stock FW (3.0.0.4.386_42095) and this happens, so not Merlin specific.

ASUS RT-AX58U Settings for AdGuard Home (via Raspberry Pi 4)

I should have mentioned I'm still on stock Asus firmware. I believe Merlin's has the additional name under DHCP which is why I don't get client names on AGH with stock Asus firmware. I know it's not AGH as I only recently upgraded to RT-AX88U from a RT-N18U which ran FreshTomato and with that...

ASUS RT-AX58U Settings for AdGuard Home (via Raspberry Pi 4)

Do all the client names show up in Pihole when using Asus as DHCP server? Or only when static IPs are assigned?

ASUS RT-AX58U Settings for AdGuard Home (via Raspberry Pi 4)

You shouldn't need to do this at all when using Asus router as DHCP. (Options ) If the router is set to use your AGH in the WAN settings , all the DHCP leases will get the router's IP as the DNS server, and the router to forward any and all DNS requests to AGH. (Options ) If the DHCP DNS on the...

ASUS RT-AX58U Settings for AdGuard Home (via Raspberry Pi 4)

AdGuard Home is a DNS server with domain filters, you don't push all the traffic through it. The two choices you have is 1) Set the router DNS server to your AGH server. Each client in your network queries the router which in turn queries the AGH server. 2) Set the DHCP DNS server on the...

    CakeQOS CakeQoS-Merlin v2.0.0 alpha
