    I had exactly the same problem. After flashing Merlin and waiting, the 2 end leds (power and internet would light up white. every few minutes the lights in the middle would flash on and the router seemed to reboot. This just kept repeating as though in a boot loop and ould not get to the Merlin...

    Thanks for your reply. In the original Asus firmware I was able to save more than 2 configurations. Any idea why? I'll need to do a bit now reading up before I'm writing any scripts. Lol Oh, I just read in the changelog the part about saving on nvram. I guess that's the reason.
