[Fork] Asuswrt-Merlin 374.43 LTS releases (Archive)

Hi John! After updating from 19E3 to 20B7, I can no longer see either IP addresses or names of clients under System Log > Wireless Log on my RT-N66 (running under AP mode). Is it normal? Thanks!

Thanks! I'm wondering if either AC68U or N66U will be able to automatically fall back to 20 MHz in case of interference in 20/40 MHz mode?

Asus RT-N66U - Looking at retiring the old girl to handle Fiber

Maybe consider this as well Ubiquiti EdgeRouter X Advanced Gigabit Ethernet Routers and Ubiquiti Unifi UAP-AC-Pro?

Will I see an appreciable difference upgrading from N66U to AC68U?

I have both AC68U and N66U and AC68U's 5GHz is so much better than N66U's. And ofc all my AC devices love the upgrade from N66U to AC68U. If your firmware level is 380.3xxx you won't be able to flash from the gui. You may be able to flash using the firmware restoration tool or the CFE mini...

Hi John! Would you recommend 20 or 20/40 in wifi crowded area? When I turn on inSSIDer, I can see about 10 other wifi networks. Most of them at about -80dBm, two of which are at about -50dBm. Thanks!

So I was playing games on my phone and some annoying ad came up and wouldn't go away. Is is possible to know where that ad came from? How could I block it based on its IP/URL?

Thanks John! Would that be a considerable hit on wifi speed for those 5GHz 300Mbps-capable devices on that N66U? Also is it possible to know if at any point the LAN port the N66U loses connection and gets back on?

I spoke too soon. Yesterday, LAN speed went back to 100 Mpbs. Seems like my RT-N66U is having the same problem in the thread you linked :/

How do you find out such info? I bought it used 2 yrs ago from eBay so maybe pretty old. Let me try different LAN ports. Thx Edit: switching to different LAN port get back Gigabit speed. I'm happy now :)

Yes. N66U is setup as an AP. I already powered cycle the whole system several times to no avail

Thanks John for the new build! Things have been great on my AC68U & N66U. However the connection between AC68U & N66U is used to 1 Gbps now only shows 100 Mbps Full Duplex under Tools > Sysinfo. Did I do something wrong?
