From that website: "We informed ASUS of this zero-day attack scenario in May 2023, with a promised fix in July 2023."

    CVSS High 8.1 - CVE-2015-8960 with firmware 3004.388.8_2

Do you have any PoC showing how this is actually exploitable? I see the report comes from a scanning tool - these are notorious for generating false positives, as they don`t explicitly test for a vulnerability to be present, but just check for generic parameter such a software version, and...

I suspect 102_36xxx and higher cannot downgrade to older versions such as the one on which 3006.102.2 is based, until I get updated GPL, which will happen God knows when.

RT-AX88U maxing out a core and regularly showing 60+ MB/s upload

Don`t share/copy ASD signature files between routers. They vary between models based on the version of the asd daemon, and also Asuswrt-Merlin uses different signatures than the stock firmware. Just let your router get them from Asus. If you absolutely must force an update for some reason...

Release Asuswrt-Merlin 3006.102.2 is now available for Wifi 7 devices

Zero changes to wireless. Your improvement comes from the reboot, quite possibly the router using a different channel, or a change in your environment between both tests.

Beta Asuswrt-Merlin 3006.102.2 Beta is now available for Wifi 7 devices

Constant "restart autowan" events are normal in 102_36xxx. They are hidden by Asus in the rest of the firmware, but will appear if you have custom scripts that reports on every single events. I can try to reapply their same workaround for service-event logging, but if scribe logs every single...
