Success! Nice stable logs and no Unbound errors....I took the first option and used pihole1 then copied it again, changed udp to tcp and pointed it to pihole2...Thank you, sorry for the headache........(now off to figure out how to stick this on a usb to survive a reboot :) )

Ran home to do a few quick test....Prerouting causes Unbound errors.....It seems hardcooded devices just cant handle Reject as where they pass off Drop with no complaining...But not a big deal as I can stick with using Static Routes to get around this issue.....Appreciate your help and no need...

Awesome. I have been blocking DNS to all devices except the piholes ( Port 53 & 853 )under Netgear/Security/Block Services...your prerouting config should be exactly what I need...Edit: As I am at work right now it will be a few hours before I can get home to test. Was thinking though, is there...

Aegis Aegis (simple yet effective protection)

More than likely I am the only one having this issue.....On my setup I have forced all my dns to my piholes and run unbound. When you came out with Aegis I discovered that hardcoded google devices were actully bypassing my setup. Its manly a Nvidia Shield going crazy, maybe an insane 10 hits a...

Aegis Aegis (simple yet effective protection)

I've got a small issue. With Aegis I use it to block hard coded Google devices ( 8.8.8.8 & 8.8.4.4 ). With the engine rule changed from DROP to REJECT my logs are being flooded with requests and Ive notice a performance hit on my router. Temporarily Ive set up a static route under netgear...

    Aegis aegis: a firewall blocklist

Thank you sir.....I thought it was that simple but wanted to be sure.................on a side note if anyone wants to really see the benifits of aegis just add 8.8.8.8 & 8.8.4.4 (google dns)to your custom-blacklist....this is the sure way of blocking those hardcoded dns devices

    Aegis aegis: a firewall blocklist

@HELLO_wORLD ....is there a way to easily add an entire range of IPs to the custom blacklist? Say like 179.107.48.1 - 179.107.55.254 which is a range of about 2000?
