    Custom firmware build for R7800 v. 1.0.2.64SF

In case of faulty that particular nvram partition you would get an error message. But obviously that doesn't mean whole memory is fine. Anyway better not erase other partitions. In regards to reset full cleanup can be achieved by performing hard reset (or from gui) plus erase command.

    Custom firmware build for R7800 v. 1.0.2.64SF

    1. You don't have the same nvram problem my router was experiencing. 2. Have you rebooted router after erase command?

I guess you are talking about OpenVPN service. In that case use smartphone profile instead.

I didn't experience lost config issue but went through RMA because of NVRAM failure that I identified while trying to wipe out config using mtd erase netgear command. That command erases NVRAM partition containing config files so yes, you are going to be able to restore saved config.

Can anybody with affected router try the following command and provide results (output from the command)? Note it will wipe out your config/changes altogether. mtd erase netgear

Might be good to configure syslog or at least router to send logs over mail. There would be a chance to spot something in the logs.

Script to block DoS IP addresses reported in the log

Also be careful with false positives. I've attempted to check a few IPs from log and most of them were WhatsApp and Facebook related.

    Kamoj Kamoj information add-on V4 for Netgear R7800 X4S and R9000 X10 (Temperatures a.o.)

Maybe you could include syslogd in next version of your add-on? Something that will get enabled by issuing for example nvram set syslog_ip=10.0.0.1 command? Sample config for syslog can be found here: in line 30 of /etc/init.d/syslgod: syslogd -C -m 0 -T "$($CONFIG get time_zone)" -c...

Regarding higher CPU load: that was my hypothesis based on what you wrote about openvpn generating that error and higher load shown by debug page. However as I wrote top is not showing any CPU peaks. Thank you anyway for quickly identifying the issue and sorting it out! Anyway I am rarely using...

I have more details: - without your plugin there are no warning messages - they appear every 10 seconds - they also appear in groups when refreshing your debug page - warning are not log for initial minidlna scan which is taking around 50% of CPU load - top is not showing any peaks of CPU util...

@kamoj I am still no sure about it but having quick look at log files it seams after upgrade of your add-on following error is being logged: kernel: [Warning] skb_warn_bad_offload!!! Could you check your syslog if you got the same?

Looks great! The only info I can think of in addition is connection time but I guess that would be available only from DHCP lease and not necessary is going to provide info about last disconnection. So probably of not much use.
