    Kamoj Kamoj information add-on V4 for Netgear R7800 X4S and R9000 X10 (Temperatures a.o.)

Then there is no mtd tool available. You might want to use recovery: https://community.netgear.com/t5/Nighthawk-WiFi-Routers/Firmware-corrupted-on-R9000/td-p/1490650 I would also try different DNS client: stubby or DNSCrypt.

    Kamoj Kamoj information add-on V4 for Netgear R7800 X4S and R9000 X10 (Temperatures a.o.)

Sorry to hear that. I have R7800 and was sure mtd toolkit is available on R9000 as well. Try searching on the web for R9000 nvram erase. Also to doublecheck there is indeed no mtd you can run: find / -name mtd

    Kamoj Kamoj information add-on V4 for Netgear R7800 X4S and R9000 X10 (Temperatures a.o.)

From console: mtd erase netgear reboot In addition you can try reset to default values either from GUI or by pressing and holding hardware reset button. If you will put those commands as written above you should end up with clean config. Might be good to create backup of the config prior to the...

    Kamoj Kamoj information add-on V4 for Netgear R7800 X4S and R9000 X10 (Temperatures a.o.)

Based on my experience there might be an issue with some corrupted files/errors in the config file that could even survive reset to original settings. You might try reset plus mtd erase netgear command. Obviously you will lose all the config and mods with that step.

    Kamoj Kamoj information add-on V4 for Netgear R7800 X4S and R9000 X10 (Temperatures a.o.)

Might be good to see contents of log files from around the issue. From telnet (or ssh) console: less /tmp/log/dnscrypt-proxy-2.log (ignore that one since I realized you are not using DNSCrypt) and less /tmp/log/messages and for both files scroll to the time when you have lost your connection.

Voxel Custom firmware build for R7800 v. 1.0.2.62SF

Looks like problem was affecting only Intel 7265 and only with 2.4 band and is gone for some time already after playing with different driver vendors/versions. Now using Microsoft one (19.51.8.3).

    Kamoj Kamoj information add-on V3 for Netgear R7800 X4S and R9000 X10 (Temperatures a.o.)

Looks like it's showing only wired and 2.4Ghz skipping 5GHz.

    Kamoj Kamoj information add-on V3 for Netgear R7800 X4S and R9000 X10 (Temperatures a.o.)

Another feature proposal. Might be good to have single table showing details of all connected clients. Something like /DEV_show_device.htm but with additional columns of signal strength and distinguishing between 2.4 and 5 GHz clients. Optionally connection speed. Anyway current...

Voxel Custom firmware build for R7800 v. 1.0.2.62SF

With .62sf I again have connectivity issues with 2.4 GHz network. With 11k disabled it is better but still from time to time connection is broken, which is surprising since I understand Voxel did not modify any WLAN related packages. Issue observed with Intel Wireless-AC 7265 card.

R7800 speed test shows high bufferbloat

I have triple A results except for 2.4 GHz connection where there is pretty big bufferbloat. Tested on R7800 wtih Voxel's .61SF and .62SF

    Custom firmware build for R7800 v. 1.0.2.61SF

I guess it is visible with higher Internet bandwidth? I have 120Mbps DL and enabled QoS with WMM, Access Control without blocking and Traffic Meter and to be honest can't see any perforamce improvement after disabling any of those services.

    Custom firmware build for R7800 v. 1.0.2.61SF

Are there known performance issues with QoS, Traffic Meter and Access Controls?

    Custom firmware build for R7800 v. 1.0.2.61SF

Check this thread for ad-blocking: https://www.snbforums.com/threads/how-to-blacklist-block-sites-using-mvps-hosts-file-with-dnscrypt-proxy-v2.49803 You will need to enable dnscrypt for that one.

    Kamoj Kamoj information add-on V3 for Netgear R7800 X4S and R9000 X10 (Temperatures a.o.)

I am not using that feature (except just one attempt based on NG support request) and have no time right now to test it more thoroughly so that was just a heads up message. Anyway agree thread might not be the best one.

    DNSCrypt-Proxy version 2 and STUBBY add-ons for R7800/R9000

Seams it was coincidence. I have uninstalled DNSCrypt 1, upgraded to 2.0.18 and with the same config file I tested previously now it works fine. So red herring.

    DNSCrypt-Proxy version 2 and STUBBY add-ons for R7800/R9000

Might be just coincidence but after upgrade of DNSCrypt to 2.0.18 my router started to disconnect WiFi frequently (similar frequency to stock .60 FW). For now I've rolled back to 2.0.16.

    Kamoj Kamoj information add-on V3 for Netgear R7800 X4S and R9000 X10 (Temperatures a.o.)

Talking about issues... Have no the slightest idea whether it has anything to do with add-on but enabling LAN/WAN packet capture from debug screen (I've tested so far to memory) is causing high CPU utilization rendering system unusable and after some time router restarts. Maybe someone will have...

    Kamoj Kamoj information add-on V3 for Netgear R7800 X4S and R9000 X10 (Temperatures a.o.)

    @kamoj, Is there a way to list as well networks identification and in output replace MAC addresses with names? Something like: ###2.4G### host_a 52Mbps -59dBm host_b 114Mbps -79dBm host_c 70Mbps -63dBm ###5G### host_d 845Mbps -63dBm...

    Custom firmware build for R7800 v. 1.0.2.61SF

I was forced for a few days to use stock .60 in order to discuss some issues with NG and now, after switching back to .61SF, still cannot believe Netgear router can provide such a stable connection. As a test I've worked for an hour or so via RDP from 2.4 to 5 GHz machine and not a single...
