    goCoax MoCA 2.5 adapter

What kind of MoCA1.1 device. You know, only one MoCA 2.5 chip vendor. In deed we found there are some backward compliance issues, especially with some old MoCA devices.

    goCoax MoCA 2.5 adapter

After you changed the MoCA band, normally you need to change the LOF at the same time. Then save and reboot. We don't suggest to use different band in the same network.

    goCoax MoCA 2.5 adapter

First, the link rate of your device is not good. If you are using the default configuration, you should can get about 3500Mbps rate. Please check the cable, splitter, make sure they are MoCA compatible. Next, LOF is the RF frequency to which the MoCA interface was tuned when last...

    goCoax MoCA 2.5 adapter

Yes, here is the MoCA PHY rate. It is about 3.5Gbps. we can get about 2.5Gbps real traffic throughput. The 2.5Gbps is for whole MoCA network, for example, if you have 3 nodes, A, B and C. By adding the throughput, A to B, A to C, B to C, B to A, C to A, C to B. you can get about 2.5Gbps.

    1) Splitter can't resolve the frequency interference , even you configure the MoCA adapter to 1350-1675MHz. the bandage of MoCA still can affect the DOCSIS3.1. 2) Configure the MoCA to 1350-1675MHz. will loss about 1Gbps bandwidth. You can get only about 1.5Gbps. You can try the step 1 and 2...

    goCoax MoCA 2.5 adapter

DOCSIS 3.1 have the frequency range up to 1218MHz, MoCA frequency range is 1125-1675MHz. There is some overlap between them. If you really want to use DOCSIS3.1 and MoCA together. Maybe the following suggestions are useful: 1, Connect MoCA adapter and Cable modem to RF splitter directly. 2, Use...

    goCoax MoCA 2.5 adapter

If your cable modem is DOCSIS3.0, this setup can work. If it is DOCSIS3.1, DOCSIS and MoCA will have frequency overlap, there will be some issue.
