Skynet Skynet - Router Firewall & Security Enhancements

Is that an option? I manually deleted the folder so it would write a new one, but it never did

Skynet Skynet - Router Firewall & Security Enhancements

The Skynet V 6.0 splash screen shows up but it says it cant find a usb. Doesn't look like it ever installed. When I WinSCP to my router, there's no skynet folder in the USB drives (There was before).

Skynet Skynet - Router Firewall & Security Enhancements

Hi Adamm, thanks for all your work on skynet. Been using it for quite some time now. I recently updated to latest version and now I'm getting following error when updating banmalware: Downloading filter.list | [0s] Refreshing Whitelists | [6s] Consolidating Blacklist...

Skynet Skynet - Router Firewall & Security Enhancements

Thanks Rhialto. I'm not on 384.15, so I guess that explains why I cant open it.

Skynet Skynet - Router Firewall & Security Enhancements

I have a really dumb question; How do I get the Skynet menu to show up? I understand the CLI (via Putty). However, I like the GUI. Not sure how to open it.

I tried to replicate but it doesnt. Looks like it's all ok now (I probabaly dis something wrong). Select Menu Option: [1] --> Unban [2] --> Ban [3] --> Banmalware [4] --> Whitelist [5] --> Import IP List [6] --> Deport IP List [7] --> Save [8] --> Restart Skynet [9] --> Temporarily...

Skynet Skynet - Router Firewall & Security Enhancements

Thanks Adamm. So far so good. However, URL's can change IP's (as I'm sure Microsoft will do). I updated the banmalware on my end, but I see this entry "For False Positive Website Bans Use; ( sh /jffs/scripts/firewall whitelist domain URL ) Isn't An Option! Isn't An Option! Isn't An Option!" So...

Skynet Skynet - Router Firewall & Security Enhancements

Agreed. Or better yet, add it to the options page. I'm not a Linux guy and always have to revert back to this page to find out what the command is. Thanks.

Can we whitelist URL's on Skynet (vice IP's)? Something on Skynet is blocking my X-Box One. I tried using debug to monitor blocked IP's but nothing showed up.

    VPN System Log

Thanks Merlin. On the VPN server config page, what's the difference between Username/Password Authentication Username / Password Auth. Only If I select "only", will it stop the syslog spam?

    VPN System Log

Thanks, Team. Is there a risk in leaving 443 open? If they don't have the correct key (cert), they can't connect to my VPN server. Am I missing something? Also, I'm curious as to why when using the default OpenVPN port 1194, no one ever scans that port (everyone knowing OpenVPN uses that...

    VPN System Log

Hi, I have my OpenVPN set to use TCP 443 so I can get past port filtering in many hotspots. However, my log is flooded with entries related to my VPN (see below). It appears I'm being scanned, but I'm not sure. Should I be concerned? Is there a setting I may have missed? Thanks. Dec 24...

    ipv6 firewall blocking port

Hi Merlin, I'm running 380.67_0 and I ran a Shields-up scan on my WAN/LAN. It shows my port 443 is not stealthed (bad, according to them). I do have my OpenVPN running on port 443 (to bypass blocked port 1159 wifi hot spots). Is their a risk with 443 being open? If I left it at the default...
