    The very rare cases I expiremented issue with OpenVPN Server not starting, it was due to the fact that (for whatever reasons) the router could not sync its date/time and was showing the usual boot date of 05-MAY ....

    Thanks for your answer; I am not sure I understand what you mean ... I have created the OpenVPN Server via the GUI and then exported the ovpn file to my smartphone/tablet (and if the question is did I do that prior to 386.5_2, the answer is yes but do not remember with what firmware version it...

    Hi all, Android app cannot connect anymore (see attached). I have just regenrated the openvpn file from GUI and re-imported on the android phone, but no success ... Any idea ?? N.B. other android app (open vpn connect) works ok !?!

    It would be better if you could post the syslog file ; I suspect something is wrong with the date/time of your router (it would not sync with your ISP modem) and therefore your openvpn client cannot start PS: you gui image is too small to be read ... and also , May 5 is not the date of...

    Put a RJ45 cable between the WAN port of the node and a LAN port of the main router and run a search ; the main should detect the node in seconds ....

    Using RT-AX86U as main and 2 RT-AX56U as nodes, it was impossible to detect the nodes (tried more than 10 times or so with reset) until I plugged an RJ45 cable between the WAN port of the node to a LAN port on the main ... then it was detected in seconds.     Same issue here: unable to get IP address from Nodes when on GN 1 (intranet access disabled, of course), connection to main is OK. Set-up is AX86U as main router, 2 AX56U as nodes, all running Merlin 386.5_2

    Yes, NTP server enabled on AX86U as well as intercept NTP client request. After changing intercept NTP client request to No, it works OK .... I still do not get why it used to work before, but in anycase I say a big thank you to you for your time and help. GS
