    Your set-up of the OpenVPN client is wrong ; you should specify the LAN IP addresses of the devices you want to be protected by the VPN in the source IP and leave the destination ip empty. You also need to define your LAN client with static IP.

    the parameter applies only to the routed clients, i.e. all those IP that you will define in the client section "rules for routing client traffic ..." with VPN as iface.

    as mentioned above, after having checked the IP address is correct, make sure you set the parameter "block routed clients if tunnel goes down" to No .... then you are sure it will never connect via WAN

    guest 1 behaves diffirently than 2 and 3, because it is used by mesh (the IP range of connected client are in another range than guest 2 & 3). Broadly discussed on the forum
