    Thanks for all the input. I’ll be running an Ethernet cable the full run. I already have conduit in the sub-space and wall. I might stick with another 7800 for the time being until we get more WiFi 6 devices (besides our iPhones).

    Duplicate IP addresses

    I just did the address reservation and rebooted the Roku, I’ll see if that addresses it. Never thought to do that! Edit: Seems to be OK after a reboot. That should be in the manual :) Thanks for the advice!

    Clearly I have an issue. I can change the via ssh (NVRAM) and it does show the list is correct when I use the device_list command using ssh. The problem is that none of this is reflected on the web browser. How can I check there is not an issue with the browser getting the data from the...

    OK. I understand the NVRAM thing now. Just two more questions (and I certainly appreciate your help so far!). How do I know the list of categories (i.e. 47 = other, 23 = media device, etc.)? How do I get the names I put in NVRAM to be reflected on the web browser under attached devices?

    Far enough. The worst part was renaming all of the devices on my network again. As I keep a spreadsheet, it was very easy to match up Mac addresses and just copy and paste. I’ll keep everyone posted if the issue happens again. Thanks for the advice!

    So, I am confused. What issue is my router having that a factory reset is needed? Has my issue been seen before? I went ahead and performed the reset as recommended, should be back up and running in a few minutes. Really just curious is to what the issue is/was.

    Is that all it takes? I can simply backup settings, factory reset and restore backup, right?
