br0: received packet on XX with own address as source address

I don't have a repeater, the only wireless device making a wireless network is the RT-AC86U. Yeah i am getting a lot more of blocked connections with the new ISP, i guess its because now i have an public ipv4 address... because on the old ISP i was stuck in CGNAT, they would not give me and...

[384.9_Alpha - builds] Testing all variants.

thx, but that was the first thing that i did after they installed the internet, in other words, asked their support to the put ONT in bridge mode, since there is no reason for me to have two routers and one more hop inside my network... What they said? That they did not know\could not put it in...

br0: received packet on XX with own address as source address

Hello, So I've changed ISP a few days ago, from one FTTH one to the other one, in other words both ISPs(the old one and the new one) both were\are FTTH... So in the old ISP, they used a ONT from fiberhome, i used it bridge mode with my RT-AC86U doing the PPPoE connection! On the new ISP they...

[384.9_Alpha - builds] Testing all variants.

Anyway to change the vlan that the rt-ac86u will use in the wan when its set to pppoe? Edit: Solved the problem, i manage to setup my ONT in bridge mode :) now my RT-AC86U is doing the pppoe and ipv6 is in native mode, no more log errors :)

[384.9_Alpha - builds] Testing all variants.

The nokia ONT has one built-in: Don't know if it is any good or not, i wish i could setup the ONT on bridge mode and do the pppoe autentication on my RT-AC86U, that way i could use it native, but it requires a VLAN as you can see on my previously post and on the screen shot of the wan and as...

[384.9_Alpha - builds] Testing all variants.

@RMerlin One thing that I've noticed, is that when going to System Log -> Ipv6, when Passthrough is being used, the log screen does not seems right to be honest: Yet the ipv6 works on the devices. And here you have the configuration screens from the Nokia ONT: If you or anyone has any...

[384.9_Alpha - builds] Testing all variants.

I don't know what more i can do to be honest, because the only place that i can change the mtu is here on my RT-AC86U: There is no place to change the mtu on the Nokia ONT, at least not interface wise... I also tried to look on its manual to see if it had any info on changing mtu and there...

[384.9_Alpha - builds] Testing all variants.

@RMerlin Yeah these /\ only happen when i set ipv6 to Passthrough, i even flashed 384.8_2 and reset to factory defaults(initialize), after that i just setup the wan with the automatic ip setting and my wifi! These errors only started showing up on the log after i set ipv6 to Passthrough, they...

[384.9_Alpha - builds] Testing all variants.

@RMerlin Ok, i think i found the issue! This spams on the log: When i set the ipv6 to Passthrough. With Native mode with IPV6, the log is clear: But after i change it to Passthrough: Tested with both ISP, with the old one doing the PPPoE authentication strait on my RT-AC86U and with...

[384.9_Alpha - builds] Testing all variants.

This started today after i changed ISPs and updated to the lasted alpha build, with the ISP that i was using before the GPON ONT was in bridge mode and i was doing the PPPoE authentication strait on my RT-AC86U! But on the new ISP, they use a Nokia ONT, model G-240W-A, and it seems that there is...

Diversion Diversion - the Router Ad-Blocker

Hello, I would like to ask if i use port 443 as the https lan port of my router web interface, it will cause any problems with diversion\pixelserver? Because a few days ago i did an initialize of my router, then after that i did the basic configuration(pppoe, wifi and etc), then i went to the...

Reporting back... My problem is gone and i didn't do anything, i was about to the procedure that I've mentioned before, in other words, install one script at the time and check to see if my pc would lose the ipv6, but since yesterday, the problem disappeared by it self! Maybe the problem was...
