[DSL-AC68U] AsusWrt Merlin builds for DSL routers

I was thinking about that to, but the one with 1.0.0.8 is manufactured more recently, the one with 2.0.0.3 is older so DOM has nothing to do with it. And I believe that the bootloader is part of the software not the hardware.

No, and you are right, that was the case about the tab of diversion statistics. I installed it and now I can see the tab, but I can't explain the bootloader.

[DSL-AC68U] AsusWrt Merlin builds for DSL routers

I am running the latest DSL-AC68U_384.14_2-gnuton1_DSL_1.0.4.9 and I was ready to post that everything is completely normal but I notice this this image is from my office dsl-ac68u and this image is from my home dsl-ac68u as you can see both devices are running the same FW but the bootloader...

[DSL-AC68U] AsusWrt Merlin builds for DSL routers

It has been a wile from 384.12 but as I can recall this happen to two of my DSL-AC68Us after a dirty flashing from the original firmware, a reset to factory defaults solve the problem for both of the devices, and seance then it never happen again on any other update. I don't think is common...

[DSL-AC68U] AsusWrt Merlin builds for DSL routers

For me everything looks good in DSL-AC68U_384.14_beta2-gnuton0_alpha3_DSL_1.0.4.9 as it was before in alpha2, but the NVRAM message is there again 62476 / 65536 bytes. I have to SSH for line in `nvram show | grep =$ `; do var=${line%*=}; nvram unset $var; done; nvram commit and then it goes to...

[DSL-AC68U] AsusWrt Merlin builds for DSL routers

Same here all looks to work fine, I can't test the ai mesh, i don't have any devices. The "runing out of nvram" message appear to me as well and I didn't do anything just to see if it is going to effect performance, so far I haven't noticed anything VDSL 50Mbit , Samba, Wifi with guest network...

[DSL-AC68U] AsusWrt Merlin builds for DSL routers

back fro summer vacation that I was so disappointed with a DSL-N16 that I have over there, (because there is not Gnuton FW for it). And now that I am back to my DSL-AC68U I will start the testing of 384.13-gnuton0_alpha5. I will report back if I find something. Thanks Gnuton keep up the good work.

just give it a try, I always experimenting if I have the equipment and I don't just stay in what I read. It will only cost you time, and by the way I think DSL-AC68U has a good modem.

    DSL AC68U temperature

Don't even bother I had bout one of these some years ago because I got exited and I thought that I could make a good mod with it. Well it is still inside the box with various parts, the heat that is emitted from the other side needs a very big heat sink to be exchanged with the environment, and...

[DSL-AC68U] Temperture issues and how to solve them (project HEx-C)

thanks for the heads up, that was one of the things I had in mind to. But tell me the temps didn't drop at all not even one or two degrees? because with all the mods added together you gain one from this, three from that, five from the other so at the end you are getting to the desirable...

[DSL-AC68U] Temperture issues and how to solve them (project HEx-C)

Yes I have seen it, no research , no photos,(I don't see any solutions) and almost all the posts are about the RT-AC68U not the DSL-AC68U, as I mention above it is not the same device. That is the reason for opening a new thread, after speaking with GNUton. Just wait for me to post...
