    Why don’t you run a Ethernet cable. Put him on 192.168.2.1 to his router in AP mode. Your main router will be on 192.168.1.1

    https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0752FD3XJ/?tag=snbforums-20 This router (RT-AC86U) will give you full speed via vpn. Some newer chips in this compared to the 68U. Look up the model. It has got some great reviews. This is my next upgrade.

    Same here. This is really spiking one of my processors to 100%. When watching IPTV on BT TV Sport 4K which is ALWAYS counted as a upload. it’s really data intensive and so spikes the processor.

    I’ve got this and its especially noticeable when I’m using IPTV watching BT tv’s 4K channel. The data is counted as upload data. The channel will skip and one of the processors will spike to 100%. A small fast 384.5xxx update to address this will be much appreciated

    I’ve got the same issue. Especially when using my IPTV 4K channel (BT Sport 4K). The 1st Core processor is skyrocketing to 100%. Nothing I’ve tried to resolve works. Using RT-AC56U. Would also appreciate some help/fix shortly. I’ve been updating Merlin incrementally. Under what circumstances...

    I'm talking about your public IP address. Not your Local. Two separate things. OpenVPN is built into the software under VPN. Do as I said above first.
