    Set up my new AX86U today

    I just got one and set it up about a week ago, pretty much defaults. With Merlin. It's been stable since. Almost a week now. I turned off WPS and cloud access but pretty much left the Wifi settings to default.

    It's interesting that the AC3100--which was a very "beefy" router at the time, came with a wall wart and thin power cord. The AX86U came with a power supply that looks like it could run a PC or laptop, with the two piece cord/power supply and much heavier cord. Mabye Asus is upping their game...

    i wouldn't use a work account but I do use my personal account. Part of the appeal of these is personalization. My wife also uses them and she has a separate email account. She's able to get personalized results through voice recognition, casting, etc. It's not a big deal.

    Well this makes a lot of sense. I've attached a screen shot of the 24 hour section, I assume these "spikes" are what's causing it. Correct? I guess the answer is to wait it out. I'm glad to hear it's just a bug and not actual data I'm uploading.
