    Port forwarding through 2 routers

Carrier-grade NAT it is. Thanks to everyone. Boo to T-Mobile

    Port forwarding through 2 routers

Just talked to 4GAS, the provider for my wireless internet, and their tech said T-Mobile and AT&T do not allow inbound connections without a static ip account. I wonder why the modem has DDNS and port forwarding, as it is strictly for cellular. Can anyone confirm this? Edit: Just tried...

    Port forwarding through 2 routers

Having trouble port forwarding through a 4g modem/router and RT-AC68U to BlueIris. 4g modem/router (no bridge mode) 192.168.0.1 port 8029 forwarded to RT-AC68U 192.168.0.2 subnet 192.168.1.x port 8029 forwarded to 192.168.1.7 The 4g modem claims DDNS registration succeeded, the external...

    [Release] Asuswrt-Merlin 380.68 is available

This has been happening for me for several revisions, all browsers.

[Release] Asuswrt-Merlin 380.66 is now available

I made several changes at once and port forwarding started working. Backed them out one at a time and it stills works. I hate when that happens.

VPN on router with port forwarding?

I just found that this is only working on Client2. I made exact copies of its settings on both Client1 & 3 and both disable or bypass the VPN, as a leak test shows my ISP's address. Don't see any errors in the system log. I'd like to have several working so I can easily switch when I have...

FWIW: I was having a very similar problem and it turned out to be my modem

VPN on router with port forwarding?

This now works for me under 380.65, but the added routes aren't listed in the routing table. I do see them added in the general log. Is that normal?

    380.57 Possible port forwarding issue

Vulnerability Protection hoses port forwarding for me. Works initially, but fails soon thereafter. http://www.snbforums.com/threads/vulnerability-protection-blocking-forwarded-port.34483/

VPN Redirect Internet traffic Disables VPN

That's not working for me. Any thing I can try to fix it? Running the latest rev from a factory reset.

VPN on router with port forwarding?

I just installed a PIA VPN on my RT-AC68U and need to remotely access security cameras that are behind a forwarded port. What magic is available to get around/through the VPN from outside? I'd rather not just install the client on my PCs as there are @40 devices on my LAN, most without clients...

    Vulnerability Protection blocking forwarded port

Just discovered that having Vulnerability Protection on blocks my ability to monitor security cameras via a forwarded port. The port is visible to canyouseeme though. This may have started (not sure, but it's recent) with 380.61. Is there a way to add an exception? How much will I be missing...

Network Map - Client Section - Strange Behavior

FWIW, I have DHCP reservations only and the names appearing in the client and traffic analyzer sections vary between the MAC address, device's name in its setup (android and xbox mostly) and my reservation name. Not a big deal to me, just sayin'...

    Hackage or paranoia?

Haha. It's odd that I found that MAC while scanning my neighbors' wifi last year, thinking it couldn't hurt to block them. I must have been drunk and copied the wrong address. I should just stay out of the logs/router/public eye.

    Hackage or paranoia?

Found some suspicious activity in my system log and was trying to figure it out. MAC address 00:30:88:01:b4:5c is a neighbor that was blocked in the wireless MAC filter long ago, but seems to be connecting anyway. Nothing shows in the Traffic Monitor, which I assume is normal? There were lots...
