    Same here, randomly. Can't access wifi when this happens. Via Ethernet I can and it only says no internet. Reboot is the only thing that can fix the problem. Really annoying, I have sent Asus logs, I have sent mail to customer service. They just want me to reset it. I have already... does not...

    only issue I have is the wan problem. I need to restart ax88u everytime wan dies. With the beta 9.0.0.4.386.41994 it was working for weeks(a month even). With the beta I have already restarted ax88u 5 times. :confused:

    I get on this firmware these issues: Mar 6 22:10:13 kernel: eth0 (Int switch port: 3) (Logical Port: 3) (phyId: c) Link DOWN. Mar 6 22:10:14 WAN Connection: ISP's DHCP did not function properly. Beta version I did not see it. Only way to fix it is to restart asus. Very annoying! :(

    Asus has not included it...maybe because of worse cpu than the more expensive routers. Let's hop it will come later. Maybe Merlins latest version has it? Same "issue" is on thert-ax58u also.

    Has anyone tried to have rt-ax58u and add another as aimesh with the latest beta wireless? It does not work. It only works with Ethernet cable and using the new aimesh gui not the old. Really strange... Via wireless it does not find anything. With cable on the old way it always fails around...

    I think maybe while you add it...after that you can remove it. But for me if I have a power outage or I reboot the node it does not work again. Then I need to do the procedure of adding it again or logging in on my home network. Not good.

    Well bad news... I use 386 official now, so can't say much yet(installed it today), but in beta 386 I had those issues also.

    yes I understood that. But I meant it does not work for me. It will still say "ISP's DHCP did not function properly" or no internet after doing that without restating the router. Only way to get internet up and working is rebooting it.

    well yes if that would work, of course I have tried that. Also tried to change different Wan setting, activate dual Wan and put it back. Nothing works... except restart of the router. :(

    Hmm, how did I miss this discussion. :) I have the same problem on AX88U, had AC68u before and that one did not have any problems. Seems every time ip is change(I think) I loose wan connection. Reboot helps usually, last time that did not even help. But power off/on did. I have tried to restart...

    well maybe not that important. But not 100% useless. I would like to test internet speed sometimes remotely on our cabin, where we have lte connection only. To see if the problem is with the wifi or only the internet speeds are slow or not for example.

    Hmm... does rt-ax58u have speedtest? Seems it does not, I can't find it. On my rt-ax88u, that one has.

    For me on android it worked few times and after a restart of the router I get only timeout, i can see in the notification bar that it says something about wrong authentication or something. It's not really too safe to use yet. Better to use other VPN service until it works better.

    For me the only fix was to put static ips on them. Where I could do that. They have worked fine after that. Must be something with the dhcp server on asus. I have seen this so many times on on different asus routers. Don't really get it. Edit: not static in the router, static ips on the devices...

    RT-AX88U on beta still has issue when renewed the ip from my internet provider. Only thing that fixes it, is a restart of the rt-ax88u. Have any else seen this? I have sent logs(again) to Asus. But from what I could see, there was really nothing in them. Unplug,/plug wan cable, or restart my...
