Could be a problem with the external drive. Are you running any scripts?

Diversion Diversion - the Router Ad-Blocker

Browser and platform shouldn't make any difference - the blocking is done at the router. Works fine on the Macs (and PCs) on my home network.

Diversion Diversion - the Router Ad-Blocker

Nothing to be sorry about. Diversion continues to work beautifully. Take your time and enjoy the depressurisation:-)

Release Asuswrt-Merlin 384.19 is now available

Flashed without issue (or losing the JFFS partition) from .18 on my AC86U. Had the backup ready to go but it was nice not to have to use it:)

On the router web GUI, go to Administration then click on the Restore/Save/Upload tab.

Release [Beta] Asuswrt-Merlin 384.19 beta is now available

Wonder if it'd be worth using the "Format JFFS partition at next boot" option when flashing this firmware to an 86U…

Release [Beta] Asuswrt-Merlin 384.19 beta is now available

Maybe it's a "feature" to bring it in line with the AC86U;)

uiDivStats uiDivStats - WebUI for Diversion statistics

Same experience here. And I didn't see this behaviour with any previous versions.

uiDivStats uiDivStats - WebUI for Diversion statistics

Yes, I ran the uninstall command and deleted the database each time, following these commands: uiDivStats uninstall rm /opt/share/uiDivStats.d/dnsqueries.db Made no difference. I did run top but didn't capture the output, primarily because it didn't appear to show anything untoward. If I try...

uiDivStats uiDivStats - WebUI for Diversion statistics

Still having issues here, CPUs spiking, no stats being generated after multiple installs, router restarts, etc. I'm still seeing version 2.0.0 when I install. Is there a later version with a fix?

uiDivStats uiDivStats - WebUI for Diversion statistics

From my reading, that's where they're both meant to be now, Anton.

uiDivStats uiDivStats - WebUI for Diversion statistics

Odd behaviour on an upgrade install here. Did it through AMTM, took less than a second, which seemed odd, but I left it for a half-hour or so and came back to find no stat generation and the router (86U) CPUs spiking. Opened AMTM, hit j5 to go to uiDivStats (which AMTM said was v2.0.0), which...

    X86U consume so much ...

Completely normal. The RAM is there to be used so don't worry when your router uses it.

Diversion Diversion - the Router Ad-Blocker

Don't want to distract from the YouTube block discussion, but is anyone else seeing a dramatic reduction in RAM usage on their router with the latest versions of Diversion? I run Diversion, Skynet and UiDivStats and was used to seeing my RAM usage hover around 90-95%. Now its stays around...

Diversion Diversion - the Router Ad-Blocker

Just wanted to say, what a thoughtful, elegant way to implement this within Diversion. I was expecting a separate script, so to have this option available within Diversion and to have it made so easy and simple for easygoing simpletons like me is a real bonus. Great job, as always.

Diversion Diversion - the Router Ad-Blocker

That would be huge. I followed the links and checked out the reddit page and, while it's all a little over my head, it definitely seems to be giving people great results.

[Release] Asuswrt-Merlin 384.16 (and 384.13_6) are now available

No, they don't. They just whine loudly whenever they don't have internet access, wherever they are in the world:)

No AiMesh for me. Not using Smart Connect either. Each band is set to a specific channel.

[Release] Asuswrt-Merlin 384.16 (and 384.13_6) are now available

Lost wi-fi this morning on my RT-AC86U running 384.16. First issue I've ever had. Noticed a device wouldn't connect and the password (which was correct) was being rejected. Then my kids woke up and started yelling that the wi-fi was down (children are the best network monitors I know). Rebooted...
