    Absolutely agree. But, I am part serious and this question does have to do with networks. As an American, I pronounce it R Wow Ter. I suspect my friends from over the pond (and possibly across the border) would pronounce it Rooter.

    Hmm, just tried it from my AX88U Pro. opkg update runs fine and the AMTM ep check for updates ran fine as well. Maybe the primary server (bin.entware.net) was offline briefly. Try again.

    He might mean a partial restore - as @Wadadli said “when a full restore is NOT in your best interest”. Like after a factory reset where restoring USB and jffs would be good but nvram a no-no.

    Thanks @ColinTaylor and @Tech9 . The system is pretty good right now = I have 2 Mesh Nodes, one pretty far away. Rather than possibly “upsetting” the network right now - Im going to file this away. Next fw update I might try to assign a manual channel and see how that works.

    If you can ssh into the AC68U, try this: /sbin/modprobe md4 I had a similar issue a few firmwares back and we found that the md4 loadable module was not getting loaded. Worth a shot - won’t hurt anything if it’s already loaded. The other thing to check is CIFS level. VER=?

    The tplink is a nice AP. In looking at it, Asus should consider an AX88U version in a round case like that. It almost looks like a smoke detector - so it would somewhat "blend in" with a house.
