    Is anyone aware of any special setting on 87U in order to get Q-See NVR working properly? I have already forwarded ports 3777, 37778 and 85, still no luck :( Any advice will be greatly appreciated!

    I keep checking BogoMIPS and the value is right around 2,400 so that would suggest 1,200MHz OC succeeded. But when getting nvram get clkfreq and GUI it still shows 1,000MHz. I guess it is just the glitch not showing the correct values...

    Does the Merlin-firmware unlock all region & channels and/or max TX Power?

    No it doesn't (like DaveMishSr explained) but there is a fork FW by hggomes (PM him if interested) that unlocks it all. Also, you can look into John9527 fork to keep the previous TX Power settings (max 200mW) but only on RT-AC68, not the 87 version...

    You may want to experiment with 802.11h enabled on 5GHz band. (on 2.4GHz enable 802.11d if problematic with Apple devices) Also, try "Forget This Network" on your Iphones and recreate the connection again with SSID and Pass again. If necessary try changing to a different name for your SSID.

    Tried alpha3 and 4 on 87U - both wired and wireless - no problems with any streaming services including Netflix.

    Do you have a lot of Apple client devices? Do you see it on iPhones6 by any chance? I had very similar problem affecting 4 iPhone6 and Pluses - upgrade to 8.1 solved it. So, it was on the Apple side not the router's. I think Asus didn't like the new iPhones :)
