    Asus AC68U speed drop compared to direct modem conection

    Ok this one got me stumped If i connect directly to the modem my speeds as advertised 150/15 If i connect the modem to the router and then to the pc it drops down to 95/15 No one else is on the network at this time. What am i missing? Latest Merlin firmware 384.5 for the AC68U

    Can't get a static ip how to use dns in router to bypass this problem?

    Having to switch over to cable due to bandwidth needs and we are stuck with a dynamic ip. I vaguely remember that i can use the dns service in the Asus 68U to bypass this but it near xmas and the short ones aren't letting me sleep lol Help!! (before wife goes nuts )

    Was Guest bandwidth limiting every turned on?

    Now we know asus have it in the code but back in 2016 it hadn't yet been added to the ui. Has asus abandon this or is it still in the works? We got a restaurant going in and want to offer free wifi during business hours but limit its speed so they aren't sucking up all the bandwidth.
