    Thx not sure what the NIC is, it’s a fairy old system now with a Gigabyte Z390 Aorus Master MB So far I’ve changed the Ethernet cable and no complaints from my lad but will keep a router web interface see if the port doesn’t go restricted

    Thx for your reply and advice, I bought a Cat 8 cable not sure if that’s right or wrong but will try and can always return it if it’s still dropping. I did have two power saving things enabled in advance so disabled them now

    Thx all doubt it’s the router did same thing on a 2.5G and 1G ports and the BE router is only 3 weeks old Just ordered a new 15m cable so will see what that does after that might have to get a PCI-E port card
