AP Mode on RT-BE96U w/AiMesh and Guest Network Pro not connecting clients

Can't seem to get clients to connect. I am in AP mode and add a 'Customized Network'; add an ssid & password. Everything takes, but no clients can connect. All works fine in 'Router Mode'. Seems clients can't get an IP Address. Any thoughts?
