    RT-BE88U can't install merlin

    I can confirm you need to change the Asus nvram with SSH to: nvram set DOWNGRADE_CHECK_PASS=1 If you try to install Merlin through the Recovery procedure without changing this setting, you are not able to login on the router. So first enable SSH on the stock Asus firmware, download Putty...
