    I'll look into the Dells, though considering budget, the lifetime warranties of Dlink and netgear are one of the deciding features for me. Are your GS switches "green"? Any comment?     Thanks for the reply stevech, Yeah, the 24 ports are a must as it's going to be replacing a well used 16 port dumb switch. I started off looked at some of the smaller switches but decided a single large switch will be best. Right now I'm leaning towards the netgear, but still looking.
