    Just a FYI Netgear supports all the DFS channels in there firmwares. Not sure why Asus does not.

    30-30-30 resets do NOTHING on Asus routers. Try a proper reset by powering on the router while holding the WPS button till the power led flashes if possible.

    This is true but by the time it fails from over heating it will be time for a upgraded device anyway. Bottom line a fan is not needed in most cases.

    Also the fan is not needed i have had the 3100 since 2015 turned on 24/7 and never had a issue with over heating these chips are designed to be hot.

    As of now there is no patch for Asus routers stock or Merlin builds. The clients are really what needs the patch.

    Yes it affects AC clients as well. On the Netgear site of affected devices there are AC wifi adapters in the affected list.

    Yes and this is unfortunate. I guess the wifi industry is about to get a much larger market soon. LOL I bet you will see marketing terms all over them like. This product is Krack patched. O shirt i better buy it. :eek:

    The spamming system log is on Asus unless they fix it all new Merlin builds will have this issue. It's all closed source. :(

    Strange i am seeing the same with Chrome and IE-11 no java errors. Also tested on two Android phones and my ipad same condition on all the info is missing on that page only. What else could cause this bad flash ? All other tabs appear fine with no missing information. EDIT: Setting the router...

    Just curious were you able to fix the constant spamming of the syslog present in the 15850/52 builds ? EDIT: Installed 382.1 on my 3100 and i see the log spam is still present. Is there a way to change the notice level to show priority items but not the endless useless spam ? Also noticed...

    RT-AC88U 5Ghz disappears after each firmware update

    There is another thread right here with the same problem with the AC3100. I happen to have the 3100 and have never had the issue using stock or Merlin builds so it's strange indeed. I will agree i have heard this enough to know there is something going on for sure...
