    I used to but haven't on recent Merlin versions. FYI, there's much better VPN providers out there and now we have the "Redirect Internet traffic" option which was the only reason a lot of people used the Astrill plugin.

    Interesting, that works too but I needed it done for a little different reason. What I wanted to do was access the router directly (outside of the VPN tunnel) so I needed to know what the dynamic IP address always is. One purpose was to make sure the VPN was actually running when I was away...

    I had this same problem... What's happening is that when the VPN "Redirect Internet traffic: All Traffic" is selected the DNS update script is using the IP address of your VPN. So, under the VPN options, change to "Redirect Internet traffic: Policy Rules" and select each device individually...
