    I get fiber through a Genexis FTTH (Hybrid) gateway as well. I haven't experienced any speed drop. Perhaps try disabling and enabling NAT hardware acceleration again or perform a factory reset.

    The problem with hardware acceleration off and a fast connection is CPU utilization. At around 300Mb/s the processor is pretty much pinned at 100%. It won't have much time to perform other tasks and or will slow down your throughput.

    It happens immediately after I complete the initial Quick Internet Setup pages. All other settings at that point are still at default (Hardware acceleration On). The only difference from a complete factory default is the 666MHz DDR. I used the Asus utility for that about a month ago.
