    Just want to bring closure to my issue. Memory behavior on my router is dramatically different after re-config from scratch (plus AMTM usb setup) vs restore from settings backup. Memory is being released. Swap is being used in small amounts. This looks solved to me.

    Oh, I am very late to the AMTM party. That was a sweet experience. Now have my USB drive formatted and config'd with swap the AMTM way. Entware installed along with Diversion. Have a feeling my "memory leak" issue is going to be resolved now. Thanks for that info!!

    Rebooting loop did not stop after removing the USB thumb drive (named entware and it is old). I just ran a scan and and the drive did not cleanly unmount. I have never run a health scan on this drive. Am thinking I need to switch to a more modern drive. entware was not cleanly unmounted...

    ASUS AiMesh Reviewed

    I am running AIMESH AC86U main router and AC68U mesh node. Ethernet backhaul. Merlin's latest offering on both. Mesh works, but am seeing lots of log messages for the 68U wifi attempting to connect and being rejected by roaming assistant. Why would the mesh node attempt to connect to wifi?

    Actually was thinking I might make life a bit simpler by avoiding problems with special characters/carriage returns if I could skip a copy/paste step in the webui. Anyway, my setup is working fine thanks to Merlin's excellent software the the great documentation in these forums. Thanks.

    Export for clients works fine. I was looking for a pure command line way to set up my custom certs for the server. No copy/paste required into webui. Sequence like 1-stop openvpn server, 2-copy certs and keys to /jffs/openvpn/* and preserve filenames, 3-start openvpn server. Would that work?

    What is the best way to update the server certs without using webui? I am having a nightmarish time with carriage returns.
