    Or as I did use a cheap ex-corp micro PC with multiple 2.5G NICs or one the specialist pc's with multi 2.5G NICs as your router (hint it's Proxmox based) and then the Asus as an AP.

    well I finally replaced my AX86U and got on Ebay a Dell Precision T3240 8core Xeon 64GB ram, 256GBnvme for £87. Stuck in a dual 2.5GbE card £20, thats my Proxmox+Opensense+piHole router, old router is an AP. Can't grumble for £100 !

    Personally, starting to seriously think about dumping boxed routers and going micropc route with 2.5G or better LANs and access points front and back of house, costs coming down to those of a top end router and even more flexible and longer life.

    I had same issue until I switched off uTP, seemed to be flooding router until WAN dies.

    My AX86U with QOS off, seems to give pretty accurate results from Virgin Media 1Gig connection.

    now have 1Gig/105mbps from Virgin Media and I switched off QOS and let the family have a free for all and not noticed any problems with streaming, torrents, work, gaming, all about trusting family to not be greedy.

    Had this with my 2x Samsung A8's and suffered for 2 years, changes setting after setting, gave up and replaced them with a pair of cheap 2nd user Apple iPads, issues gone, will never get another Android !

    Colours look nice, but strangely only 1 of 3 iphones in the list change to new icon. What we need is a nice little addon to do all tweaking of the jffs/usericon and matching them to the icon.

    RT-AX86U hardware reset and install and config yesterday, no issues to report, today upgraded to Gig1 VM, smooth sailing. Off topic, what IPv6 should I use for VM 6to4, native etc ?

    You misunderstood me, more than happy to change any setting the community suggests and will take onboard Morris suggestions, little or no point asking for assistance otherwise. Just strange issues has shown up now after years of same config.
