    rt-n66u settings for plex server (pms)

    I have manually assigned a port in my PMS settings (32400) and in the N66U I went to WAN -> Virtual Server/Port Forwarding to point that port to the internal IP address of my PMS. That was all I needed to make it work as far as I can remember. (I'm using 374.42 Merlin firmware)

    I enabled the firewall and tested it by running the Shields Up UPNP Exposure test again. I didn't get a log entry this time! Ill keep an eye on it, but that seems to have done it. Thanks! Funny thing is, I didn't disable the firewall myself, it was disabled by default for me. Perhaps that...

    Thanks for your quick response! :) Aha, I thought it might affect the speed of file transfer between computers on the LAN, connected to the N66U AP, but as I understand it well, this is more a WAN/first router feature? (I'm sorry for any incorrect grammar, English isn't my native language)

    I bought the RT N66U a few days ago and after it finally getting to work for me WAN -> WLAN performance wise I am very happy..... untill I noticed a flaw in my nearly satisfactory setup..: The HW acceleration is set to 'disabled by user'. I would like to get this fixed for LAN transfer...
