    Why would my CPU and RAM both spike when I have my MY Book plugged in? It usually goes down, but last night it took about 45 minutes to lower. Ram would stay at 20-25% constantly. If I unmount the drive, the cup goes back down to normal. RAM stays about 24%. It was like this for beta...

    Samba share does work as I'm currently transferring files to my USB 3.0 attached HD. Speeds were at 11.3 MB/s. My PC is running on 5 GHz and is about 15' away from the router with two walls. I'm not sure if that helps you or not.

    With the fan and router pretty much idle: CPU 59.1° C / WL0 40.13 °C / WL1 45.89 °C CPU - 16° cooler WLO - 6° cooler WL1 - 13° cooler

    I got the same one as well. Here I am with a little bit of a load and it's still below what I was idle with no fan: CPU 61.4 °C / WL0 41.00 °C / WL1 48.20 °C DFran - Thanks for the link and good advice on getting it!

    What fan do you have hooked up? I just installed what I have and it only lowered temps across the board about 2°.

    Correct, no fan. I have a stand and fan I used to use with my E3000 that I might try and find.

    CPU 81.4 °C / WL0 49.00 °C / WL1 72.05 °C After downloading torrents on 4 different devices (5 GHz) for about 15 minutes. CPU 82.5 °C / WL0 50.50 °C / WL1 74.45 °C 20 minutes
