@john9527 First of all, thanks for keeping my beloved firmware up to date. I have a question tho.. Is it possible to select your own extented wifi channel? At this moment i only see a option showing "auto", it would be nice if i could select the extension channel myself. And if it's not...

Hi, since i did a factory default, i am struggling to get proper wifi speeds, also i don't remember the proper nvram codes, even though i found some. Anyways, my main question is, when i use puty to telnet to my router and fill in "wl txpwr_target_max", the result is 15.50, 15.50, 15.50 on...

I just did do a factory reset but now i can't really find the proper NVRAM settings ( commits? forgot how they are called ).. I remember that i forgot a line last year so it wasnt working properly. I used to have the best wifi range/speed on 200tx rate. 500 was i think adding too much 'noise'...

Yes, i think so.. But i reverted back to original a loooong time ago, maybe the last time i put this firmware on, i could have forgotten to set factory default. So what should i do now? I have put everything on default now at the TCP settings. But if i set to factory default, i will loose my...

QoS is disabled, i don't think i turned something on that disables hw acceleration. Most of the options are on default and at tools it reports as enabled. In case i didn't mention, i have a asus ac68u btw. This is how the timeout settings are. I don't remember changing anything about these...

Wow, i feel really dumb for not checking if it auto updates or not.. So many security fixed that i missed out on.. Well, i check the packet loss while being on Teamspeak, and when i get the packet loss, my voice gets "static" i warp all over the place in game, and my ping gets pretty high in...

Hi, one question.. Wasn't this firmware auto updating? I just realised i was still on version 374.43_2-12BGj9527 for soo long.. And one more question, does anyone know why i have so much packetloss while uploading? Even when not uploading i randomly start to lag while gaming and get some packet...

On my old Netgear router i could see in the logs, who connected from which ip/mac to my router and also who tried to connect with a wrong pw and admin logins. Is it me, or does the ac68u not have a option like that in stock, merlin or fork? It is a great feature and i really miss not being able...

Thanks for your reply. After doing this with putty, i went from 4Mbps to 23Mbps in my room, which was pretty impressive. After that i set the TxPowers all back to 200 and still had around 20Mbps but not very stable speeds, still good tho. I tried a couple of things and couple of firmwares tho...

First of all, thank you and Merlin for your amazing work, from what i have read on a different forum, you both are doing a great job. I just purchased a RT-AC68U, which from a has 80db TX or 80mW? I get kinda confused which one it is. But my question is, can i change this to e.g. 200mW with the...
