    Thanks, it seems to do the trick! I thought wan being down would mean that setting didn't matter, but it does make the DNS resolution works fine. Now I just need to configure dnsmasq a bit. -- Thomas

    Hi all, I have a RT-AC68U and I'd like to configure it as an access point, but I want to keep DHCP working. Currently I have it setup as router mode, disabling WAN access. It mostly works, except for DNS: I have to disable the DNS in dnsmasq (only keeping my other router in the DHCP option)...
