    i know it won't be simultaneously as i have to define different partitions.. so which Lacie product do u recommend ? i just want ability to connect to my media players thru FTP,Samba,UPnP etc and ability to go to sleep mode for low power consumption

    Hi all Im in the market for my first NAS. I want a NAS that can act as an external hard drive if connected to PC with usb port and with gigabit support or atleast good speeds over network.My main objective will be copying files into it with usb port and playing those files with media players...
