[Fork] Asuswrt-Merlin 374.43 LTS releases (Archive)

@john9527 I was really interest in your build just that I wonder with this quick question, why the QOS page cant be programmed, viewed, and set the same way like the other working ones? It looks a bit weird to add value before saving (otherwise it just not allow you to continue so) and the turn...

Dear @john9527, Thank you so much for your firmware. I have noticed some strange thing happen from your recent firmware(including V29D4). 25e7 is working great. just a hope if you could link the "check for update firmware" to link to your latest beta. If you could spare your firmware space. I remember you mention it's merlin link, but I hope merlin would agree with this.

Many thanks for you reply. since It's working with 25B7, I gave another try upgrade direct to 25E1 without a reset and now it working. Really had no idea with what happened when I did the clean reset and start from wizard last time. Thanks again.

[Fork] Asuswrt-Merlin 374.43 LTS releases (Archive)

Hi John, I am not sure if I missed any part in this. the 25E1 failed to auto detect the WAN connection in wizard again. It even time out upon checking when the manual PPPOE credential insert. I revert back to 25B7 for now

[Fork] Asuswrt-Merlin 374.43 LTS releases (Archive)

Hi John and Merlin, Would it be possible to relink the autochecking new firmware to your location instead of Asus's site? It would be nice to have it autoupdate with beta check box. Thanks to both for the hard work

Thanks for a reply. Youtube could not handle to play well at high res(auto mode). It randomly tried to produce high res when having enough buffering but it was only for few seconds. When I forced to select higher res, it just stopped long time for bufferring. I have been happy with your...

Hi John, Thanks for latest build. I experienced 68u fail to use QIS as it stuck on the PPPoe dial up username and password for ages. No matter method I tried was working, GUI factory default, hardware reset button, or even Webservice recovery page NVRam. I can confirm i have never experience...

    RT-AC68U f/w: Merlin's or John's Fork???

both Merlin's and John's are great. I can confirm as I use both from time to time. John's has a point of "set it and forget it" with original released firmware hit the market while Merlin has updated GPL in which I believe to have a better wireless performance. People say to have a test but for...
