    @octopus I experienced this issue a few fw upgrades previously, and a "reboot" fixed usb issues. Latest RMerlin's are working well and without issue!

    I'm looking for an inexpensive multi-port 2.5GbE switch. Has anyone had experiences with NICGIGA? Specifically this 16-port link is to Amazon US, and is often selling at $159.

    Amazon (US) has sold the GT-AXE16000 new $400. I agree with Tech9's suggestion of waiting. I'm not cheap, I'm frugal.

    Apologies, I stated BE98 and you are referencing the BE88. Again, why bother with an AIO router when you don't need wifi? Our neighborhood has 10Gb fiber, and I haven't found anyone getting full use of their 10Gb while using an AIO router.

    Curious as to the reason for the RT-BE96U as the replacement, and not the BE98 Pro? Should the World be expecting to see RMerlin FW for the BE96U? I just read your response that you released a fw 3-weeks prior, I mistakenly was thinking of the BE98 non-Pro, which GNUton has been working.

    VP6650 That seems a good hardware solution, since you don't need wifi! If I had 10Gb home internet, I would definitely upgrade the hardware to achieve the best network speeds without any bottleneck. Even with the cost of memory/ssd drives it is difficult to imagine the BE98 would be 3x less...

    If wifi is not a concern, then why waste your time with an AIO router? I would suggest a more capable wired router running pfsense.

    AXE16000 10GE port can be used as WAN?

    This information may have been changed since I setup my 16000. I don't have my wan connected to the 10Gb port due to the wifi 6E had to be disabled, if the 10Gb port was used for wan.
