Release Asuswrt-Merlin 386.13 / 386.13_2 is now available for AC models

Hi @Squall Leonhart, @RMerlin, I just upgraded my RT-AC68U to 386.13 and noticed that my Gigaset station (C475IP, quite old) is no longer working and can't register anymore. If my Gigaset station is/was misconfigured, is there a way to configure it correctly, without having to replace it...

Port forwarding stops working after a few hours

RT-AC68U with 386.7_2 – – – – – – I noticed that port forwarding stops working after a few hours on my RT-AC68U router using Merlin v386.7_2. This is whether the port forwarding is activated automatically via UPnP or manually. I tried both. Same result. UPnP auto redirection is activated on...

How to auto-run code as a service on Asuswrt-Merlin?

OK I see. Thanks for looking into this anyway and thanks to everyone else for the help. Aaron, the author of the udp-proxy-2020 code, is looking if he can have it built a for ARMv5. We'll see how it goes. If it does I might be back for some advice on how to auto-run at boot.

How to auto-run code as a service on Asuswrt-Merlin?

thanks for this. I copied your binary on my router and it seems to run. If I ./udp-broadcast-relay I get usage instructions and a description text. How do I run it as root and how should I use it knowing the Roon Core is on a mac on my LAN connected by ethernet to the router and my iphone...

How to auto-run code as a service on Asuswrt-Merlin?

I actually can connect to my computer remotely under tun (with my iPhone). I can even connect to my Roon core but the problem is that I cannot see my iPhone audio out as an endpoint (this means the Roon core does not see my iPhone through the network as an option to send audio to). This is where...

How to auto-run code as a service on Asuswrt-Merlin?

How to auto-run code as a service on Asuswrt-Merlin?

Thanks for this. The author of the code had replied on the Roon forum that I'll probably have to test which binary works among the different ones for ARM he released. By the way, what terminal command do you use to run the code in Asuswrt-Merlin ?

How to auto-run code as a service on Asuswrt-Merlin?

Well, the point was to be able to use Roon and not iTunes or something else such as Plex, Subsonic, etc. This way one can take avantage of unified play cout, tagging (stars, likes) album or tracks will be added/modified on the Roon core database as well as taking advantage of dsp engine...

How to auto-run code as a service on Asuswrt-Merlin?

thanks for this. I checked how to install entware in the asuswrt-merlin wiki. Do I need to uninstall DownloadMaster as mentioned (I never used it) and if yes I do I do this? Also will the command chmod a+rx give my binary the proper permissions? (yep I'm kind of a beginner in this linux command...

How to auto-run code as a service on Asuswrt-Merlin?

How to auto-run code as a service on Asuswrt-Merlin?

I’m seeking a little help on how to auto-run at boot as a service the following code « udp-proxy-2020 » on my Asus RT-AC68U running Merlin v386.3_2. I’m using Roon (music player/server) and this code was written specifically, if I understand, to forward UDP broadcast messages on my LAN over my...

RT-AC68U, Merlin 380.58 need to restart the router every few days

mmmh… I'm not sure I'm ready to go through all this. Seems like lots of steps with formatting usb drive to ext2/ext3 partitions, etc. I'm using os X. This feels like doing a live autopsy on a sick RT-AC68U. I need simple steps.

RT-AC68U, Merlin 380.58 need to restart the router every few days

Some update about RT-AC68 needing restart after a while. Still on Merlin 378.55 I disabled the Traffic Analizer/Statistic and uptime lasted about 20 days (not bad but still became unresponsive and had to restart it) I re enabled Traffic Analizer/Statistic a few days ago and had to restart...
