    Sorry for not being more precise. I should have specified that the combination of the 1010+ and the expansion together come out cheaper per drive bay compared to the 659 as best I can tell.

    Cost per drive Seems to me that the cost per drive bay is measurably cheaper with the 1010+ at about $150 each compared to about $170 or more per bay (over $190 at amazon). Plus, the extra expansion capability is pretty convenient.
