[Beta] Asuswrt-Merlin 380.65 Beta is now available

Wifi calling with Swisscom works for me on beta 3 on an RT-AC3200. Please note that Wifi calling on the iPhone only activates itself when the 4G signal is low enough. You may have to force it by entering airplane mode, then re-enabling Wifi.

[Beta] Asuswrt-Merlin 380.65 Beta is now available

Problem is not present on the AC3200 with B3 either.

[Beta] Asuswrt-Merlin 380.65 Beta is now available

Thanks, I will keep an eye on it and compare it to 380.64_2. I have 8-12 clients active, depending on the time of the day, from Apple devices to printers and HomeKit power switches. Usually, after how long do you start seeing the issue? Also, I don't think it has anything to do with uPNP, as...

[Beta] Asuswrt-Merlin 380.65 Beta is now available

To those having the "scanner issue": is there a consistent way to reproduce it, or is it just random? I'm not seeing the problem on my RT-AC3200 with 380.65_beta3.

WAN (ISP DHCP) issues with 380.64_2 on RT-AC3200

Has this only started with 380.64_2, or did you have the issue previously as well?

[Beta] Asuswrt-Merlin 380.65 Beta is now available

So if wireless scanning with MFC printers doesn't work, and others said that detection of Plex server doesn't work, this would mean that "broadcast" packets don't traverse the switch and/or the Wifi access point correctly. That sounds kind of strange as it's a basic functionality. Maybe there's...

[Release] Asuswrt-Merlin 380.64_2 is now available

Well, the changelog says: So something definitely changed in the WebUI with 380.64. That combined with some nasty Safari bug can cause the hangs you describe. Have you tried updating to the latest iOS/macOS and see if it persists? I, for one, don't have the issue (iOS 10.2.1, macOS 10.12.2)

WAN (ISP DHCP) issues with 380.64_2 on RT-AC3200

My ISP is UPC Switzerland and the cable modem is set to bridge mode (so I'm getting the IP directly from their central office). I find it interesting that the issue only started appearing with 380.64_2, that's why I'm asking if anyone (@RMerlin ?) knows whether something has changed in the DHCP...

WAN (ISP DHCP) issues with 380.64_2 on RT-AC3200

I mean the script I linked: https://www.snbforums.com/threads/user-nvram-save-restore-utility-r24.19521/ This simply avoids you having to re-do the config from scratch, but maybe it will also copy over whatever is causing the issue. I'm not sure. Maybe someone else will chime in.

Asus RT-AC3200 Dual WAN Load Balancing + Rules + Failover

I have the same issue. Somehow the feature you and I are looking for does not exist. In other words: load balancing does not do failover. It only does load balancing.

WAN (ISP DHCP) issues with 380.64_2 on RT-AC3200

Have you already tried a factory reset and restore settings using the script? I'm pondering on whether that might be necessary for some reason.

WAN (ISP DHCP) issues with 380.64_2 on RT-AC3200

I've been running 380.62_1 on my RT-AC3200 and it was very stable (uptime >100 days), zero issues. Yesterday I thought I'd upgrade to 380.64_2. At first, routing didn't work at all (clients were not able to access the Internet, even though I was able to ping Internet IPs from the router's SSH...

[Release] Asuswrt-Merlin 380.61 is now available

I am still running 380.59 on my AC-RT3200 and I'm a bit unsure whether to upgrade to 380.61, being "non-downgradable" now. Any clues on whether it's worth upgrading at this point? My router is perfectly stable on 380.59, although I tend to be a "latest and greatest" kind of guy who always upgrades.

SSH/Web interface access from Dual Wan

Thank you Merlin, I can confirm that it works with 380.59.

SSH/Web interface access from Dual Wan

Hi everyone, since Asuswrt-Merlin firmware 380.58 I've noticed that access to SSH and web interface from the secondary WAN (in a dual WAN setup) is no longer possible. Up to 380.57 that still worked. Does anyone of you know how to re-enable this feature? Thank you :)

Dual WAN load balance mode doesn't do failover

I've been experimenting with Dual WAN lately and I've had mixed success. What I'm trying so far is to use load balance mode. It works fine and I was able to set up some specific routes as well. Unfortunately, when in load balance mode, if the Primary WAN fails, there is no failover to the...

Question about RT-AC3200, dual WAN and loadbalancing

Actually, I noticed that speedtest.net opens several concurrent connections. That way, I've seen the bandwidths of my 2 WAN connections being added up - sometimes, not always. But as Steve said, you will usually achieve more bandwidth only if you do several different things from your client, or...

Specific routes in Dual WAN routing failover mode

You were right, there were several routes missing that are created automatically in Load-Balance mode. But hey, it's always fun to tinker around, right? Lots of things learned on how this router works :) Anyway, I now switched to Load-Balance mode, so it's easier to add and remove routes (from...

Specific routes in Dual WAN routing failover mode

OK, this solves the issue of being able to use tags instead of numbers. But even so, unfortunately it still doesn't work: Anywhere else I need to look? Where are NAT/SNAT rules defined?
